SIIG offers dual channel Ultra ATA/66 PCI controller. It conforms to Ultra ATA/66 specification with full backward support on Ultra ATA/33, EIDE/Fast ATA-2 IDE and ATAPI devices. Burst data transfer rates with Ultra ATA/66 drives are available up to 66MB/sec. Bus mastering reduces I/O processing load on CPU to increase the system performance. This controller auto-detects device type and fine tunes to the best performance for each connected IDE/ATAPI device.
