Processor: The 1.6 GHz Pentium M (Centrino) processor 725A is at the low end the speed spectrum for this processor class (October, 2005), and adds to the affordability of this notebook. The Pentium M processor is designed specifically for low-power mobile usage, and it features the latest in power-saving technologies--ensuring you push your battery and productivity to the max. So far I have enjoyed using my HP pavilion...it has given me no trouble at all. Wireless is great as well as speed and memory. I have not had a chance to use the DVD burner yet but am not anxious.

After using IBM ThinkPad for 6 years I was looking for something cheap because Thinkpad are not (Lenovo???). So far HP DV4250 works fine because I got this for half price of ThinkPad. 15.4 inch screen is pretty good (1280x800 and true color). Main thing performance is good and you can always increase RAM to 1GB but 512MB enough for general use. (I am software Pro and notebook is ideal for development work). Never played any game but movies runs fine and burner works great. Overall 4.5 out of 5.
