My FIRST NEW COMPUTER.......2006-01-19

This being my first new computer,I wish I had done more research.Although I looked for almost a year and knew bassicly
what I wanted I could have used some advice from someone more savy than myself.
That being said however,I will say that I have had very good service from this PC.I still think I payed a little to much for
a computer with integrated sound and graphics although both do
a respectable job I would have liked a little more for gaming apps.
OH! That price $800.00 and change, but it came bundled with an
15 inch LCD monitor, { HP VS 15 } That does a very good job
graphically. However do your self a favor go for surround sound,
It sounds much better than those tiny monitor speakers.
All in all I don,think I did to bad for being a tenderfoot at
purchasing a new pc. It has almost been ayear and no tech problems with the machine.So unless yout thinking of that monster gamer,or your into some heavy heavy gaphic programming,
Ithink you could do a lot worse than the a1007w pavilion.
Give it a few minor tweaks and dont look back.At least untill LONGHORN !
