It features a 1/6" 540, 000 pixel CCD for crystal-clear images and an 18x optical/360x digital zoom to bring distant subjects into close-up with no loss of resolution. Shooting is made easy with the 2.5" color LCD screen and color viewfinder, electronic image stabilizer and night mode, whilst eight exposure modes offer users a flexible approach to recording. For editing, the MV530i is both SD memory card and MultiMedia card-compatible. Still images can be captured easily using the Progressive Photo facility and analogue signals can be converted to digital using the DV-out/in terminals.
