Fujifilm's newly developed image processor utilizes state-of-art digital imaging technology and ultra-high quality digital image processing that draws on the huge image database Fujifilm has built up over many years. The new processor delivers true-to-life color reproduction and smoother tonality by precisely and accurately analyzing lighting conditions, and color and tonality of the subjects. The new processor also achieves exceptionally responsive image processing -- just 1.2 seconds startup time, 1.0 seconds between frames, and a remarkable 0.05 seconds shutter lag.
