The Samsung Maxima 140 Ti QD camera introduces a high-definition lens to its value line of 35mm camera models. Equipped with a powerful 4x zoom lens (38-140mm) and carefully designed for ease of use, the 140 is especially effective with its automatic program shooting modes. A wide range of shutter speeds--from 1/400 to 1/3 of a second and 1/60 in flash mode--gives you a selection of photographic options for the right shot. You can shoot fireworks or scenes at night with the Bulb function, which can leave the shutter open from 1 to 60 seconds.
The special portrait mode automatically chooses the ideal zoom setting for portraits. The 140 is also capable of continually shooting a series of shots, which is very useful for catching subjects in fast motion. Although the automatic focus system works for most purposes, you can set the 140 to be infinitely focused and turn off the flash for shooting through a window. Red eye flash corrects that common annoyance, and you can also set the flash on or off as well.
You can easily keep track of and set the shooting settings using the jog shuttle dial. The camera makes an audio warning whenever an incorrect setting is made to prevent unwanted errors during photo taking. The 140 has quartz date/time imprinting and eight pre-set titles to personalize your photos.
