The Stylus Pro 7600 from Epson is a large format, high-quality printer with a number of advantageous features. It combines a variable-droplet micro piezo DX3 drop-on-demand inkjet technology with its specially formulated UtraChrome inks to produce beautiful images that are bright and accurate and that meet professional standards.
A 2,800 x 1,440 dpi maximum resolution delivers ultra-detailed prints suitable for a wide range of applications, while print speeds run from 8 square feet to 192 square feet per hour. Designed for heavy-duty printing applications, the 7600 offers borderless prints up to 24 inches wide and supports single roll and cut sheet media with 12 lb. bond up to 1.5 mm cardboard weight. An built-in media cutter has both automatic and manual settings, with a cutter life of approximately 2,000 times (coated media).
The 7-color print head configuration delivers droplet sizes of as small as 4 picoliters, while the UtraChrome inks have a lightfastness of up to 100 years. The 7600 connects to your computer via standard USB and parallel ports, or optional FireWire or 10/100 BaseT Ethernet via an expansion slot. Both Mac and PC operating platforms are supported.
Noise level is approximately 50 dB, and the 100 to 240 VAC, 50 to 60 Hz power supply consumes about 55 watts during normal operating and less than 15 watts on standby. The 7600 has a 43.3-by-22.5-inch footprint and weighs around 96 pounds. It also has a 20,000-page approximate monthly duty cycle and comes backed by a one-year on-site warranty.
