The standard 250-sheet input tray and 100-sheet multi-purpose tray can be expanded to include an optional 500-sheet input tray for a total input capacity of 850 sheets. The 3700N accepts a wide variety of paper types and sizes, including plain, glossy, tough, recycled, transparencies, labels, cardstock, letter, legal, executive, envelopes, and more. Print speeds for both monochrome black and color are as fast as 16 ppm, with a first page out time of around 18 seconds. HP's ImageREt 2400 printing technology delivers true 600 x 600 dpi resolution.
The four toner cartridges (black, cyan, magenta, yellow) are easy to replace, while the smart printing technology monitors toner levels, so you never run out at inopportune times. The standard 64 MB memory can be expanded up to 448 MB to handle heavier print demands, while the parallel port, USB port, and HP Jetdirect print servers provide connectivity options.
