An inspirational collection of sayings and truths from Mother Teresa.......2006-04-08
Like A Drop In The Ocean: 99 Sayings is an inspirational collection of sayings and truths from Mother Teresa. Instilling awe and hope in the lives of so many, Mother Teresa's impact upon the world will endlessly ripple across it surface for many years to come and Like A Drop In The Ocean provides readers with an accurate and intimate feel for the encouraging and moving idol. Like A Drop In The Ocean is very strongly recommended as both an inspiring compendium and an exceptional gift for anyone troubled, confused, joyous, or content. "AIDS is not a punishment from God. When we get sick, we do not acquire any fault. One of our own sisters got AIDS from an infected syringe. She died slowly. We are not to express judgments." Mother Teresa
A Gift Book for the Spiritual Journey.......2006-02-25
This small format, hard cover gift book is a treasure. In 99 pages, we read a variety of quotations from Mother Teresa. Recurring themes include nature, prayer, and love. We learn that the attention she got from the media was a burden to her, endured willingly because publicity for her work drew attention to the poor. She found speaking in public torture, saying it was easier for her to bathe a leper than to answer a journalist's questions.
The content of these brief passages is complemented by Mother Teresa's gift for language, for example, "I am only God's pencil, one that he uses to sketch whatever he wants," and "love's garment has a hem that reaches into the dust, and brushes it away." Every page has a message with the power to inspire.

Beloved Saint Lived in Anonymity.......2006-11-04
This latest entry in the "99 Words to Live By" series is, like its predecessors, filled with inspiring words for daily reflection. The value-added colorful cover and ribbon marker make this an ideal gift. Introducing the quotations, Editor Marc Foley, O.C.D., presents a brief biography of Thérèse, who was born in 1873, lived and died in obscurity, yet "is one of the most well-known and beloved saints of our age." She approached God in the manner of an innocent child, prized simplicity, and considered love a choice rather than a feeling. Those who follow her path will be heartened by her struggles to become more attentive in prayer and overcome aggravations arising from community life.
She admitted, with shame, that she had such meager success at meditating on the mysteries of the rosary she became desolate. However, she recovered somewhat with the realization that "the Queen of heaven, since she is my Mother, must see my good will and she is satisfied with it." Thérèse tried to extend the same kind of patience she attributed to Mary to the other sisters. "A sister who is suffering from migraine or is troubled internally," she said, "does more when she does half of what is required of her than another who does it all but is sound in mind and body." Two other favorite quotations Foley offers to help us deal with our shortcomings: "Charity consists in bearing with those who are unbearable" and "... God allows some souls to remain imperfect because it would be to their spiritual detriment to believe they are virtuous."

Julie Silard Kantor is executive director of NFTE Washington DC and a national spokesperson, as well as recipient of NFTEs 2005 Leadership Award and a former NFTE Executive of the Year.

Book Description
According to Hebrew tradition, Moses was the leaderof the Jewish people who led them out of bondage. He was the supreme lawgiver and the greatest of the prophets in the history of the nation. This concise selected of his sayings disclosed the enigmatic personality of Moses and reveals the foundation of what Jews throughout history have held as sacred.

for you were strangers in the land of Egypt."
"Let my people go."
"Hear out your fellow men, and decide justly
between any man and a fellow Israelite or stranger.
You shall not be partial in judgement: hear out low
and high alike. Fear no man, for judgement is God's."
