kENTON AT HIS BEST.......2003-07-17

This may be Kenton's best band EVER! For those biased critics who said he wouldn't or couldn't swing, the contrary proof is in this pudding.And what a great pudding this is with outstanding ingredients, [ musicians]. Some of Kenton's best.The list is too long to list but it sounds like a who's who of the jazz world.Shelly Manne and Maynard Ferguson are simply phenominal in their playing. And Shorty Rodgers and his composition Jolly Rodgers is electrifying in any generation.I heard one person [ since it was a live performance] yell GREAT! And it and the entire performance was.A must album. ignore the out of stock notice, and see the alternative avenues Amazon.Com has provided.CD cONNECTION has excellent service.
