The video goes from the migration of Puerto Ricans to USA, musica jibara, musica yoruba, bomba, plena, la danza, and they development of salsa from these in USA. The CD strictly has Salsa and the earliest Salsa Funk. It is a great compilation of the ýpioneersý of salsa. Ray Barretto, Tito Puente, Fania, Eddie Palmieri, Tipica 73, Joe Cuba, Lebron Brothers, Celia Cruz, Seguida, Jimmy Sabater, Ricardo Marrero & The Group.

Formed in 1994 from the ranks of the UC Berkeley Marching Band, !Tang is an nine-piece indie-soul extravaganza with a sound that defines "burgeoning." This is a great way to discover what Brazilian music is all about. Experience Brazil gives you a chance to truely experience the best brazilian music of today. Some songs on this album include incredible live versions like Jorge Ben's medley, "Pais Tropical/Spiro Giro" and Gilberto Gil's Unplugged, "Aquele Abraco". This record will not let you down.
