Gordon Jenkins was a arranger, conductor, composer and bandleader who worked with artists including Benny Goodman, Dick Haymes, Louis Armstrong, the Andrews Sisters, Judy Garland and Nat King Cole. In 1967, Jenkins won a Grammy award for his contributions to Frank Sinatra's "September Of My Years."
