Foreign Objects' Glory Days.......2003-12-01

Foreign Objects is a pre-CKY band consisting of Deron Miller and Jess Margera. This album is much different than anything CKY has done but it still has a hint of the CKY sound to it considering it is 50% of CKY. Foreign Objects has fast paced and technical guitar riffs, killer drums, and hard hitting vocals. The album only has 5 songs but they are recorded well for where they were recorded and the songs flow well together. It is a great album to own and was just a hint as to what Jess and Deron were capable of. They went on to make incredible album's with CKY but nothing like their days in Foreign Objects. The Re-release of this album will also be out in early 2004 with 10 original songs for all those who think this one is too short. Look forward to the re-release but I suggest buying the original if you can find it. It is one of my favorite cds that I own and highly recommend it to any music fan.

Its a shame i could only give this masterpiece 5 stars because really it deserves at least 10. Straight outta the basement of Jess and Bam Margera comes Jess and Derons first cd release which is by far the best cd out there besides any CKY cd. I have been a die hard fan of CKY ever since i heard QBB on CKY and since then i have listened to CKY every day. What makes this album so amazing is that it was done all on a four track and completley by the band themselves. I would give my life to have lived in west chester years ago to see FO play far cry behind at East Goshen Park or the CKY crew highskool. If you love CKY and dunt have this album your f____in crazy get it now. FORCE CHANGE

A must have.......2003-04-28

This CD is amazing. It's quite possibly my favorite pre-cky material. A must have for any cky fan out there. The drums and guitars are exquisite. The vocals are harder than many of the cky songs but the cky sound is definitely recognized. I am very pleased with this cd.

damn good cd.......2002-02-21

i bought the foreign objects cd because i love cky. the two bands are basically the same with the addition of chad ginsburg on guitar for cky. while sometimes a little more choppy than cky, foreign objects still has the same energy, and i actually like some elements of their music more than cky (the bass for example is better). the other side of the end of the universe and destination undefined are both great tracks. im just sad that the cd is as short as it is. thats really the only downside. do yourself and your cd collection a favor and buy foreign objects. its definitely worth it.

Album Description

This 2 disc compilation features the Universal Culture Shock album (which was recorded in 1998 but shelved until now) and the Undiscovered Numbers and Colors ep, which was originally released in 1995. Both CDs have been digitally remastered and disc 2 is enhanced with one of the only two shows that Foreign Objects has ever played in their brief career. Foreign Objects features Deron Miller and Jess Margera from CKY and features guest appearances by James Murphy from Death/Testament.

Amazing cd. I would encourege every one to buy this cd.. it is so amazing... if ur a fan of cky then u need this cd.... Foreign Objects is basicly cky just before cky started. Foreign Objects started in 1995.. and is pre cky it has deron miller and jess margera from cky.. it also has unreasleshed trackes and on the second disk it has a video of for a 1996 henderson auditorium show for ur mac/pc... so i really recemand that u buy this cd if ur a big fan of cky and havnt heard of foreign objects. Or just buy it if ur looking to get into some new music and tired of the same old stuff that the radio plays out..

Very Good.......2006-07-08

I've been a fan of Foreign Objects for a couple years now, so most of you can understand why I like The Undiscovered Numbers & Colors E.P. better than Universal Culture Shock, but I still love Universal Culture Shock, most notable songs are Test It Out (Testing For Life On Mars) and Chemical Control (Sci-Fi Mirage), alot of the UCS songs were leaked over the internet or by way of cKy: Volume 2, but just in instrumental form, and thats why I was so glad to see that Deron was going through and doing Vocals for the instrumentals, and second of all have James Murphy (Testament, Obituary) solo, so this album could finally be finished after like 8 years (around that). But anyway this is an excellent combo, UCS and TUNAC, buy it!!!

P.S. If your a fan of anything Deron, and are into kind of more Thrashy Metal/Rock check out Third Hand Fact by This End Up, which was one of his bands when he was younger. Deron does Vocals and Guitar.

I just got to listen to this album for the first time and I can't explain how much love to hear something new that comes from Deron and Jess. True, I am bias because I think that CKY is best band out there today worth listening to, (unless you like listening to the force fed emo/metalcore crap). Deron's riffs make me think of horror/space-sci-fi and its like nothing you'll ever hear. Do your self a favor and throw away your crappy CDs and buy CKY vol. 1, CKY IDR, CKY An Answer Can Be Found and Foreign Objects. Listen and learn.

Simple, I don't even like metal and i like this album. yes i am a cKy fan, and I really enjoy the album. Even though it is pretty metalish I still think it is very good. Excelent
