I have been waiting a lifetime to find this recording on CD. I have the original vinyl recording which is aged and played way too many time. I believe that HOLD ME, SQUEZZE ME is the perfect AM song. Anyone who has seen here perform this gem would agree.

Slick, Sexy Groove.......2007-06-01

Paul Sabu produced the gem "Everybody Needs Somebody Sometimes" for Ann-Margret in 1981. The cut has a smooth and sexy mid-tempo disco groove. Ann's voice was perfect for the song: rich and breathy. A song to share. Dim the lights, pour some wine and hold a special someone close to you. The lush notes of "Everybody Needs Somebody Sometimes" will melt around the room and you'll want to dance slow and sexy.

Throughout a professional career lasting 50 years, Miles Davis played the trumpet in a lyrical, introspective, and melodic style, often employing a stemless Harmon mute to make his sound more personal and intimate. But if his approach to his instrument was constant, his approach to jazz was dazzlingly protean. To examine his career is to examine the history of jazz from the mid-'40s to the early '90s, since he was in the thick of almost every important innovation and stylistic development in the music during that period, and he often led the way in those changes, both with his own performances and recordings and by choosing sidemen and collaborators who forged new directions. This collection of live performances really showcases the talent of this band. The energy level is high and always makes me feel like I am back on the Carolina coast sipping "Sweet Tea" on a hot summer night.

Sheer talent! This live CD by Cravin' Melon makes me wonder why more people have not heard of this talented group. The lead singer has a voice that can make any heart melt. The guitar player is one the most talented individuals I have ever heard. Add a bass that puts you into gear and a drummer that kicks you in the rear :-) and Cravin' Melon is what you get. Having this live CD in your collection gives you the dose of Melon that you need when you need it. One can clearly see that this group has the music in their hearts and in their souls. I will recommend this CD to anyone who loves music and talent.

I got to see a Cravin' Melon show, and this CD is as close as it gets to the real thing. It was a great concert, and Squeeze Me is just like it. Each song is great. They've included some crowd favs, such as Sweet Tea, and aslo some great new stuff (my personal favorite is Running).

This seems to be the last survivor of Alan Feinberg's wonderful collections of American piano music. It's a typically fascinating program, mixing music by people thought of as jazz composers (Duke Ellington, Fats Waller, James P. Johnson) with others considered "real" composers (Gershwin, Cowell, Nancarrow, Gottschalk). It's all jazz to Feinberg, who plays everything with gusto and affection, showing that all of this music belongs together in the same part of our music brains. If the concept attracts you, grab this disc now while you can, since Argo hasn't thought Feinberg's other collections worth keeping in the catalog. --Leslie Gerber

...I had the distinct pleasure of attending high school with Sean back in Dunkirk NY (class of '83 is the best!!!). Even as far back as then, music was always part of who Sean was, and it is such a treat that he can be sharing his music with the masses today.

If you love country music, you'll love what Sean has to offer. And if you are not a country fan, still give it a try. You just might like it.
