Customer Reviews:
Where is he now.......2001-05-01
This has got to be the best Blues album I have heard.... ever. Back in the late eighties my wife and I were regular customers at Cagneys in Huntington Beach California where Luke and the Locomotives regularly played, the place was always packed.......Just wish I knew where they were now.
No Stranger to the Blues.......2001-04-08
With a mix of originals and cover versions, Robert Lucas goes out to show what the blues is all about, and you'd be hard pressed to find a better display than this one. It's a rare event to find a recording that captures the essence of blues so well.
Although both versions of this album feature excellent hi-fi sound, I warmly recommend the more expensive JVC-XRCD version if you're the type that values every last drop of good sound.

This is great music. Absoultely the best blues CD you can find. Best when heard through good speakers, not headphones.
