Ricky At His Best.......2006-12-16

This CD came out before the Livin La Vida Loca Craziness of 1999. It was truly his best CD. All the songs whether low key ballads, or crazy up tempo dance tracks all have one thing in common, they are great. There is a song for every mood and Ricky himself has a beautiful voice. I hope that he one day will make another album like this.

The key tracks are: Vuelve, La Bomba, Por Arriba, Por Abajo, La Copa De La Vida, and Marcia Baila.

muy esta buenisimo. si eres fan de ricky martin tienes que comprar el cd "aprendiendo a querer" de jessica cristina, donde ricky grabo con jessica el tema "todo es vida". este tema es el primer duo de ricky en su carrera musical y fue grabado en 1992.

The "Vuelve" cd has a wonderful cross of up-tempo (gotta get up and dance songs) with romantic ballads. My favorites are "Bomba", a perfect party song for anyone to enjoy. Also "Por Arriba, Por Abajo" which is a song that just keeps building with an amazing accompaniment of horns that drives you right through the song with your shoulders shaking to the beat. "Lola, Lola" is still a great dance song, but has a slower pace that's almost hypnotic. "Casi Un Bolero" is just a beautiful song that haunts you--EVEN if you don't know what the words mean! And then of course "Copa de la Vida", which you may remember from the World Cup (Soccer) a few year back. This is a perfect "get the party started" song! All in all, this is an excellent cd that you will enjoy whether you speak Spanish or not. I know I'm very happy to own it!

Este es sin dudas uno de esos discos especiales que tocan el corazon de quien lo escucha; yo no soy religioso ni tengo preferencias por musica cristiana, pero con esta produccion Lilly Goodman ha dado en el clavo en el conocimiento del alma humana y el deseo del hombre de encontrar respuestas ante eventos de su vida, sobre todo cuando los problemas y situaciones cotidianas de la rutina diaria son tan insoportables y duras; este es el tipo de canciones que un alma estresada y desesperada por el desorden del mundo actual necesita escuchar; donde temas como el amor, la decepcion, las luchas interiores, los vacios espirituales, el cuestionamiento acerca del sentido de vivir y la necesidad de un encuentro con un ser superior es imprescindible para el ser humano. Todo esto aderezado por una voz angelical y exquisita de una dominicana que endulza el oido y despierta una sensibilidad que hace pensar que un angel ha bajado del cielo en forma de cantante.

Soy admirador de Raphael desde hace mas de 35 anos y no exagero al decir que he quedado completamente impresionado al escuchar este disco. Es el gran Raphael con esa voz maravillosa y un disco muy bien realizado, muy bien cantado, y con un gran mensaje. Todas las canciones nos llevan paso a paso en un camino que nos lleva a comprender lo que la navidad realmente significa. Disco altamente recomendado para todos los fans de Raphael y para todo el publico en general. Escuchenlo..no se arrepentiran.

Yo soy un fanatico de este grupo, y tengo todos los discos cuando era con los vampiros, o sea Vilma palma e vampiros, pero ahora que acabo de escuchar en nuevo album "vuelve a Comenzar", es un disco excelente, tiene de todo un poco, como balada, pop, etc...,con decirte que hasta tiene el feeling, de su ya reconocido sonido inconfundible, como cuando tocaban como vilma palma e vampiros. Te recoemiendo que lo adquiera lo mas pronto posible ya que no te vas arrepentir, al conntrario estoy seguro que lo has de escuchar hasta mas no poder.
Felicitaciones Mario Gomez=Vilma Palma, por este nuevo disco.

Top of the heap in Flamenco Rock!.......2006-09-16

Los Delinquentes is a really refreshing group of talented musicians without pretentions and clearly out to have the most fun before the day ( or the night ) is over. This CD includes luminaries such as Kiko Veneno,an innovator, who is perhaps the most outstanding pioneer in modern flamenco fusion(20 years + as an exponent of the genre) and Rafael Amador ( of Pata Negra fame, and the brother of Raimundo Amador) in addition to Diego Carrasco and Gualberto. The lyrics are a riot. Though they include a lot of jargon particular to modern Spain and the musician subculture. These guys are way hip, or as my son would say: "sooo phat" ! The content is fresh and daring, satyrical and totally relaxed. They rate right up there with "Martires del compas" They are that good and entertaining.

This cd is amazing. Delincuentes take flamenco style guitar and rhythms and use them in a catchy but uncompromised fashion. Their two previous albums were good and had a few great songs but this album has produced the most hits out of all of them. If you are a fan of Spanish music or flamenco this is a great album.
