Como toda buena trilogia, el primer disco de Alex Ubago empieza con un bueno, si bien un tanto superficial en comparacion con sus sucesores, disco debut.

El disco es excelente, todo esta donde debe estar. En este disco Alex Ubago era un muchacho apenas saliendo de la adolescencia, y eso es precisamente lo que este disco expresa. En el hay canciones de amor, tristes, esperanzadas, alegres, pero todas de un amor joven y un tanto ingenuo. Por supuesto, esto no evita que las canciones sean excelentes.

En mi opinion las mejores canciones de este disco son Sabes?, Dime Si No Es Amor y Que Pides Tu?, pero todas, con excepcion de la que canta a dueto con la muchacha de La Oreja de Van Gogh (la cual tal vez por sobreexposicion, pero encuentro muy desagradable) son geniales, y presentan al mundo a un cantautor con inmenso potencial: Alex Ubago.

I happened to see this kid on yahoo and I watched his video. Lovely voice. And A lovely album. The only track I do not like is the last one. Also I think his sophmore album is better than his debut.

Here we see Alex coming onto the scene with his first album. Unlike many POP artists who are just plain attention seekers. he wrote music for many famous artists in the Latin musical scene over the last couple of years now. It's amazing the he only came into singing after his girl-friend Amaia Montero of "La Orja De Van Gogh" convinced him to start a singing career. And what we see here is the result of some hard dedication that will indeed will show him no shame at all whatsoever because he produced the cuts on this album. From the opening riff number "Qur Pides Tu?", the Spanish guitar inpired "A Gritos de Esperanza" to "Dime Si Es Amor" we see him gliding through rock, pop and Spanish inspired music. And it feels very relaxed and he;s having fun doing it too! Making this one of the most listen friendly albums I've heard as a debut. A very well done to you Alex Ubago! This album will surely please for both adults and teens. I can't wait for his next album...

this is one of the best cds i own, although i have to admit that i have only recently begun discovering the beauty of alex ubago's music. i am a *huge* juanes fan and always enjoyed his upbeat, dance music better, but alex's lyrics are so deep and beautiful that it's hard not to love this music.

my personal favorites include sin miedo a nada (duet with amaia montero of la oreja de van gogh), ¿sabes?, ¿qué pides tú?, and no te rindas. you'll love it. i promise.

This cd is amazing es a fuego. All of the songs come from the heart, they were all written for his them girlfriend as poetry and he recorded the disc for her. It eventually got passed around and now we can all enjoy it. La musica de este disco sale del corazon, alex grabo este cd pa su novia pero ya esta a la venta anda'lla compratelo esta pegao. We can all enjoy and relate to the pure emotion that is show in all of these tracks. This is what music is supposed to be, simple and heart driven. I love the whole cd but if i had to pick 3 favorites, they'd be 'a gritos de esperanza', 'que pides tu' and 'ahora que no estas'.
