Sexy heartthrob Enrique Iglesias returns with a slickly produced collection of rhythmic ballads ("Esperanza," "Cosas del Amor") and soft rocking sing-along tunes ("Desnudo," "Contigo"). Enrique Iglesias with this cd"cosas del amor"has a 5 star in the way to sing every track.His voice is very touching.all songs are beautiful."Sirena" and "Nunca te olvidare"are my favorite tracks

ENRIQUE'S THIRD / ALL GOOD SONGS !!!.......2004-11-18

This cd has all good songs with good lyrics and soulful music. There's really not a bad song here just a cd full of hits, so i can't really pick a favorite. Probably the most monotonous song would be #8 Para de Jugar because it only has two small pharagraphs and the chourus is just repeated over and over again. The singles chosen out of this cd really stand out from the rest, but the title theme, #2 Cosas del Amor, is also a good song. He really starts to prove what he can do with his voice, especially in #6 Alguien Como Tu, where he holds a note out for a while. This is probably his cd where he shows that he's maturing in his lyrics and music. The success from this great cd prepares him for his crossover to the English market.

Stll Love This Cd.......2004-10-09

First off I like to say that I have known Enrique Iglesias since his first cd and own almost all of them expect Quizas {2002}which I have not bought to this day. But I will be adding it to my E.I. cllection and his remixes (1998) Enrique Iglesias's father Juilo Iglesias is a well known repescted singer who has been singing since the 70's and now his son to this day is a well respected singer like his father whos been singing since the middle 90's. This cd is not the original cd that I owned before. That one got badly sctrached that I had not choice to throw it away and get a new copy. I have a reprint copy which was reprinted in 2002 but thats okay I am just glad to have this wonderful cd from E.I. again which I think has so far been his best work with some of the nicest song like Esperanza and Para De Jugar which are 2 of my faves. I don't speak a lot spanish but I do understand it. But you don't have to speak spanish or just speak a lttle bit but just understand it so you can understand the betaiful words that Enrique puts into the betaiful songs of his cds.. Thank You other Enrique Fans.

The essence of Enrique.......2003-09-30

Enrique is the king of writing highly emotional songs and this cd proves it. almost all of the songs are very romantic like 'sirena', and 'contigo' and 'nunca te olvidare' although some are of heartbreak, they are so well written and sung. 'ruleta rusa' has a cool beat to it, different, spices up the cd a bit. and 'dicen por ahi' makes you feel soo bad for talking bad about someone. imagine if you talked bad about an ex beau and he found out...how would you feel?? this is his best cd by far, there are soo many great songs and lyrics. It's what Enrique's music is all about...emociones puras y profundas.

HIS BEST CD IN SPANISH........2003-04-13

When Enrique released his first cd back in 1995, I found it terrible, well actually the music and the lyrics were good but his voice back then was horrible. But in 1997 when his second one came out I found it better.
So in 1999 after listening to hits like "Esperanza" (Hope) and "Cosas del amor" (Love's things). I bought this tittle and I liked very much. The first song "Nunca te olvidare" (I'll never forget you) is a very good love song such as "Dice por ahi" (They say there around), "Contigo" (With you) or "Alguien como tu" (someone like you).
I also like Enrique's happier songs like "Para de jugar" (Stop playing) and one of my favorites, "Ruleta rusa" (I don't know how is the name of this game in English, I'm just gonna tell you how this game is. Is a round board with several colors and each one has an award or you can lose becuase you have to make it spin and when it stops you know if you lose or win something).
Returning to the cd, it's very good, I highly recommend it.

The One and Only Enrique.......2003-01-08

I bought Cosas Del Amor because of the video cd that came with Quizas which shows Enrique singing Nunca te Olvidare on it. It is the most beautiful song I have ever heard - I just wish he would release it again so that more people can listen to him at his best. I saw Enrique on British TV about 3 years ago and realised that this was someone very special. Since then I have been lucky enough to see him in concert and he was superb. I have now got all his CDs but Nunca Te Olivdare is my favourite song on any CD. Contigo is great - Cosas del Amor is fantastic - all the tracks on this CD make for great listening - don't just read this - buy it and see for yourself - every song is well worth listening to. Enrique Does it Again.......2002-03-04

This was Enrique's third Spanish release and it is great. The songs captivate a passionate, spiritual side.

I learn Enrique "backwards". "Cosas del Amor" is last CD I purchased / after Enrique, Vivir, Escape/. Once more I am fascinated by his exceptional voice, smooth, tremulous with a very emotional expression I ever heard. In comparison with "Escape" his voice excels much more thanks to quite different sorts of songs - ballads. That's why I very like his Spanish production /also Vivir/. If his talent as a songwriter is added he is really an outstanding artist. I have to appreciate also a co-operation with Rafael Perez-Botija - beatiful!!! songs, very well done!
I like all tracks but my favorite are Cosas del Amor, Esperanza, Sirena,Nunca Te Olvidaré, Ruleta Rusa.
One thing vexes me - an incessant comparison with his dad Julio. Julio is Julio, Enrique is Enrique and his work proves to be great!

Enrique Iglesias' 3rd Spanish language album (released in '98), COSAS DEL AMOR (which translates to THINGS OF LOVE) is full love, love, and more love. This album is very romantic and beautifully done. It deals with the blissful feelings of being in love and also the heartbreak of love gone wrong. It all starts with the yearning and haunting "nunca te olvidare" in which Enrique sings about someone that he'll never forget. The dramatic energy of the love drenched "contigo" is awesome. The sweetness of "alguien como tu" soars. It's easy to dissmiss COSAS DEL AMOR as overdone melodrama but Enrique is an exceptional vocalist. You can feel the emotion in his voice with each song. The hit "esperanza" is one of the most emotional songs on here. COSAS DEL AMOR is one of Enrique's best albums. It's love-themed sweetness is perfectly balanced. COSAS DEL AMOR also offers up some attitude with the uptempo finale "ruleta rusa". Enrique is an awesome singer/songwriter, no matter the language. This album proves it yet again.

Very romantic!.......2001-11-10

This is a very romantic CD! There are many beautiful ballads on this album. It was hard to pick any favorites, but I would have to say that my favorite songs are: Nunca Te Olvidare, Esperanza, Contigo, Cosas del Amor. Enrique has such a sexy voice, and he puts so much emotion into the lyrics. This CD is well worth the money!

His best bachata album yet!.......2003-09-21

Finally, El Gringo de la Bachata has a marketable and competitive bachata album. I am not saying that his bachata is not good but I always thought that there was something missing. This album Cosas del amor is a force a to be reckoned with and I was enticed when I saw the commercials for the album on Univision. The hit release is #9 A esos hombres but you will be impressed with all the bachatas before that. All have great lyrics, typical Gringo style rhythms and they are very danceable, a key factor if you like to dance bachata. El Gringo or Ramon Galvez has finally put together an album that should rank among some the best composers and artists in that category. Although his style is very different, this bachata is wonderful.

Excellent Latin Pop.......2007-02-02

This CD is the album which there are many songs which they are works of Roberto Livi , and Vikki sings sometimes powerful ,sometimes lightly. Vikki shows her tastes fully. Most of Songs are not collected to other CDs, and is valuable. My favorite songs are "ME ESTOY VOLVIENDO LOCA","ATRAPEN AL LADRON". But I like other songs very much too. What a lovely CD!

Vikki Carr's "Cosas Del Amor" will grab anyones attention, whether you are a Vikki Carr fan or just love Up to Date Contemporary Latin Music! There's something in this CD for everyone, ballads, rock/pop, dance songs (with a hot latin beat)! Sony should have a CD of Remixes on it so it can be heard in the Nightclubs as well! Vikki deserved to win TOP LATIN POP GRAMMY for this! Vikki, you are the best adult contemporary singer, whether in Spanish or English, you are a legend and a diva! I play this CD everyday and still not tired of it!

Vikki sounds great on this disc, and shows that she's kept up with the times. She sings rock ballads like the title song, a duet with Ana Gabriel. "Me Estoy Volviendo Loca" is a great dance track that shows she can handle a dance floor song like a Latina Donna Summer! And, of course, there are plenty of the emotional show-stoppers that she is known for. This album appeals to all ages -- just like Vikki herself!

Carr won a Grammy for this disc, a contemporary collection of pop ballads and up tempo numbers. The material is uneven, but Carr is always worth listening to.
