I love this CD. It has a bunch of really great songs especially
"Yo te amo" and "Candela". I ran to the store at bought the CD right after seeing the music videos on HTV. "Simplemente" is a great song and "Boom Boom" is hot!I think "Las Horas Pasan" is kind of a dorky song though. Chayanne is an extremely talented arist and has handsome as the day is long. Buy this CD, it truely is a beautiful collection of songs and if Chayanne is reading this. Casate conmigo!

Chayanne came to my attention when I saw Dance With Me. I was impressed with his natural acting and sincerity. The music in the movie moved me to buy all his available CDs. He is
one of the very rare singers who has perfect pitch. His voice is
seductive but manly and while I don't understand the language it makes no difference to my enjoyment of his music. I listen to it over and over. I am an eighty five year old great grandmother and love all kinds of music but his are the CDs I listen to for fun
and enjoyment. I highly recommend him to anyone.

This sweet Puerto Rican has done it again. He has the ability to move you to tears and then make you get up and dance and he uses it perfectly here. "Te Amo" a soft but strongly stated love song can almost make time stand still. The other hit "Candela" is so skillfully rhythmized you'll be humming it everywhere you go and wanting to hear time and time again. This album is a perfect balance of steaming dance songs, passionate ballads and Chyanne's sweet voice that you'll find "Simplemente" simply just irresistable. You'll want to listen to it again and again as I did and still do. Buy it today and enjoy the pleasures of life!

Viveza, one of the world's favourite salon groups does it again! With "Encore" this Canadian quintet brings alive salon music from Europe and South America with a freshness and vivacity that you have to hear to believe.

Salon music flourished in the 1920's and 30's, especially in the grand hotels. The repertoire of each ensemble was as varied as the patrons who frequented these fabled "palm courts." In an evening at the Ritz one was likely to hear music from Dvorak to Ravel, Lehar to Brahms or gypsy folksongs.

A "Sequel" that Surpasses the Original.......2006-08-26

This album tops the previous "Viveza, Music in the Palm Court Style". The groups' inventiveness really shines in this CD. From a marimba version of Piazzola's "Milonga del Angel" to an absolutely smashing version of Moritat (Mack the Knife from Threepenny Opera), the selections are superb. I highly recommend this one!

Just Right for Internet Work.......2000-03-21

We have entertained ourselves with the video Jeeves and Wooster for the past two years. Since my wife and I played in classical orchestras, we greatly enjoy the quality and "just right" musical pace of the CD for office internet work stimulation. Now we ordered another copy for home entertainment.

Excelente Rock en Español.......2004-09-12

Este es un CD de El Tri que me sorprendio. Tengo otro material de este grupo, como los dos sinfonicos, Santa Marta, Virgen Morena, No podemos volar; todos muy buenos. Sin embargo la diferencia de Simplemente esta en las guitarras, en este disco son sobresalientes (como debe de ser en el verdadero rock and roll) es decir estan en primer plano. La cancion que mas sobresale es obviamente Triste Cancion de Amor, y los arreglos en el cover de la cancion de Rockdrigo "Metro Balderas" es muy cruda, con ritmo acelerado..Una excelente version. Mi cancion favorita en este disco es Juanita.. mas por el ritmo que por la letra. Disco altamente recomendado.

es el primer disco bajo el nombre de El Tri despues de que Alex Lora dejara el legendario Three Souls in my mind. Aqui Alex Lora demuestra que al el le vale gorro todo y lo unico que quiere es seguir haciendo su musica con un nuevo grupo,,, sin lugar a duda este es el disco que realmente le abrio las puertas al rock en nuestro idioma puesto que fue el primero con gran exito y el primero en recibir un disco de oro por altas ventas... este album esta lleno de exitos y grandes canciones como metro balderas, vicioso, juanita, san juanico etc,, pero el temas mas prendido y mas chido es el himno de este grupo, Triste Cancion,, en mi mas humilde opinion creo yo que esta cancion reune todos los requisitos para ser considerada la mejor rola de rock en español,,,en este disco se puede escuchar rock al cien por ciento con solo un bajo, una guitarra, un sax, una bateria, y ademas el wea ya comenzaba a hacer de la suyas con su armonica,,,realmente se los recomiendo, y no solo este si no toda la discografia de el tri y three souls in my mind...Alex Lora le calla la boca a todos aquellos que no creen en el y reafirma que el Tri es el mejor grupo de rock en español......

I totally love El Tri's music. I think they are one of the best bands ever put together. Ther have many wonderful CD's, but I think this one is there best one yet. The reason I totally love this CD is because of one song in particular, although all of their songs rock, the song being "Triste Cancion". That song has the power to make your mind go free. When ever I listen to it, it enables me to just relax and totally let my mind go , it sets me free, IT ROCKS!

En este album encuentras las mejores canciones de Alaska y Los pegamoides, cuando compre este cd nunca habia escuchado las canciones Reacciones,Volar y En El jardin, que se hicieron mis favoritas de este cd, quizas no sea simplemente lo mejor como dice el titulo del cd, porque hay otros temas de Los Pegamoides
como Dan Las Doce,Las Moscas,Dr. Spock,Quiero Salir,Muy Serca de Ti,La Casa De La Infeccion y Apariciones.
que vienen el el cd titulado Mundo Indomito.
este cd de simplemente lo mojor, su calidad de sonido es excelente y la fidelidad magnifica que parece ver sido grabado en el siglo 21 ya que son grabaciones de principios de los 80's.

Memorias del Porvenir es lo mejor de esta banda.......2002-08-25

No es tan excelente como Memorias del Porvenir, pero no es una perdida total de tiempo y dinero. Memorias tiene todos sus mas importantes exitos, y en mi opinion no hace falta comprar este disco. Basta com Memorias y Simplemente Lo Mejor no es necessario. Las canciones que a mi me gustan estan en Memorias, y muchas de Simplemente a mi no me gustan. Son muy diferentes a lo que recordaba de esta banda. De vez en cuando pongo este disco, pero Memorias Del Porvenir es uno de mis favoritos de todos los tiempos.

I enjoyed this cd when i got it! In part, because there are songs i have never heard before and the other ones i have, are the ones i always enjoyed. There is no doubt that Spain and the spanish speaking people should be proud of this wonderful singer which makes beautiful songs written in such lovely harmony and the message they deliver, which can't be surpass by anyone. He sings to almost everything and everybody and he does it in a way that,you feel and understand what he wanted to say in a song.
