I thought this CD was banging. I love when XTREME comes up with romantic music to sit back and chill with your man/girl. I always listen to XTREME, they have such wonderful voices together.

Cheesy, disappointing.......2007-05-31

The catchy, "Shorty, Shorty" prompted me to buy this disc. After my first listen I was dissappointed. After my second listen I was just plain irritated. Most of the cuts are unimaginative and feel very programmed, and really not very danceable - like something you would expect from apparently what is still considered a "boy band." The first and last cuts (intro and outro) are a complete waste - Why is the announcing of a baseball game on a bachata CD? And then there is the irritating line of "X - X - treme" on every single song! Don't waste your money like I did.

Buena Bachata..........2007-05-16

This is a great CD for those of us who love the beat and pace of bachata. There are some beautiful love songs on the CD plus one reggetone/bachata combo that reveals another side to this duo, still enjoyable. Driving in Austin is stressful. For those of us who use music to 'calm' our road-rage tendencies, bachata fits my bill. It's great to add these voices to my 'goin' down the road' audio library.

I purchased "Haciendo Historia," since it has love songs which focus on real life scenarios -relationship wise. I would recommend this cd to girls and guys who enjoy music from a different sphere. The beat on all the songs is pretty much the same, doesn't change- though there are good selection of songs.

Excelente nuevo grupo de bachata.......2006-05-16

Este disco se merece un diez, desde que comienza hasta que termina te quedas pegao. Este grupo tiene un parecido a Aventura pero no los voy a comparar si les gusta Aventura este disco les va a gustar. Este es su segundo disco aunque se le considera el primero porque it was released por una compania grande como Sony pero ahora cambio y es Univision Music Group. En el primer disco como 3 canciones son buenas pero este le da tres pata a el primero tiene mejores arreglos y suena mejor. Este nuevo disco tiene como dos canciones del disco anterior que son (Honey,I do y Te extrano) . Tienen par de canciones en spanglish y la voz de los cantantes suenan por la mazeta. Este disco incluye una cancion en la que colabora Tito Nieves. Canciones favoritas (Te extrano, Honey I do, Pardon Me y Mi nina).

This is my favorite CD at Curves. The music is techno and fast-paced and great for cardio and free weight exercises. I would recommend this CD for high intensity workouts like kickboxing, running/jogging, step aerobics, etc.

Forget the price and buy it NOW!.......2002-10-28

This is one of the best mixes ever put on plastic by a DJ. It flows perfectly unlike some DJ mix albums, and the breaks are sick. Check out track twelve "No 43". Imagine an old Bruce Lee movie and crazy breakdowns put in a blender with a side of bassline - serve hot. This is a must have for any serious breakbeat or electronic collection.

Hard tech-house at its best..........2005-10-28

Things begin with one of those dramatic spoken intros before kicking into high gear with the hugely popular "Without You." Some of the biggest names in hard club music mix and perform these tracks, and considering there are some rareties on here, it's nice to find long versions of some (Mike Ski, for instance). At the same time, tracks like the plasmic honey mix of Iris should have been both longer AND the original version, not the dub. But taken as a whole mix, this is just a non-stop throbbing, hard riff dream. Track times:

If you are looking for the song in the Mitsubishi car commercial, this is NOT it. Sheila Bee's review led me astry and I bought the CD. It's not even close. The mixes use the same generic club beat with the unfortunate addition of a lead vocalist(?) whose voice is just too grating.

More mainstream vocals than other xtreme releases..........2005-11-02

While other volumes of the xtreme mixes were more club oriented, this one is a totally mainstream party disc, and as a result, suffers from the typical problem of having too many tracks jammed onto one disc and giving us short versions of huge club tracks, except 6 minutes of the overplayed "rapture". And then there's the space wasting megamix that could have been better used for longer version of the other tracks on here that are nearly impossible to get on CD, like the Mike Rizzo mixes of Digital Allies and Debelah Morgan. Surprisingly, the Kosheen version of "Hide U" is used instead of the Suzanne Palmer version, the Ford mix of Nicole McCloud is used instead of the more popular Dezrok mix, and Digital Allies first club track "Without You" is used once again, since it already appeared on another xtreme disc and could have been omitted from this mix. But, despite its "shortcomings", this disc is definitely a dancefloor packer. Track times:

This track is blowin' up on radio mix-shows and clubs all across this great country, and for good reason! At times, this song reminds me a great deal of Jennifer Lopez' smash-hit "Waiting for Tonight" from a couple of years ago. I really dig Ariel's vocals, especially with the addition of the vocoder efx. When you pump this track into your earhole for the first time, you will realize why I dug it so much! This song is a great example of female-vocal trance/dance. It's got slammin' beats, sweet synths, and outstanding lyrics. All the remixes are tight, and should not disappoint even the most avid trance/dance music lover. If you're a fan of Diana Fox("Running On Empty", "Sail Away", & "Where Are You Now"), Robin Fox("I See Stars" & "It's Gonna Be Okay"), Terra Skye("Is This Love?"), Jinnel("When I'm With You"), or Ian Van Dahl("Castles In The Sky", "Will I?", & "Reason") then you will definitely dig this single. This song can also be found on the compilation "Xtreme Dance Party". I highly recommend checking this song or this single out today, wherever you may find it.
