Cogelo suave con tu conciencia.......2006-01-06

En este CD de Salsa, Paulito canta sobre una variedad de temas que hablan de diferentes problemas de convivir en la sociedad desde relaciones amorosas hasta la gente que llama y engancha(lo cual paso en mi casa y la casa de mi tia cuando en los 90s). Los ritmos y melodias tienden a ser ni muy suaves ni muy fuertes, y todo tiende a sonar con el sabor de Cuba moderna, si un poco mas reservado que grupos como NG la banda o Los Van Van.

Por eso encontre raro que gente haya escrito que los musicos supuestamente eran espectaculares, porque encontre el album mas llevado por las liricas que por algun musico en especifico.

Este CD es muy comparable con los de musicos como Domingo Quin~ones y Oscar de Leon, pero con un toque de Cuba moderna.

Cuba 3 times. And I could see the concert of Paulo Y su Elite
when I visited Cuba for the 3rd time. It was an incredible experience for me. I've never seen such a cool guy just like him.
If you have a chance, You must go to Cuba and experience Paulito y su Elite !! This is the best CD of his works.

Paulito's best disc and easily one of the 3 or 4 most important CD's from the Cuban "timba" movement which began in the early 90's.

The group features one of the top 2 or 3 players in Cuban pop music history on almost every instrument and the material and arrangements, all written and arranged by PFG and Juan Ceruto, are uniformly brilliant. The songs are hook-laden pop masterpieces and the playing...the piano, bass, rhythm section, and horns...is phenomenal...with powerful, edgy, brilliance oozing out of every bar.

After hundreds of listenings, I'm still finding endless revelations in every track.
