Solo por ser RBD les doy 5 estrellas, el CD Celestial es muy bueno. Pero quede desilucionado cuando compre el CD Celestial Fan Edition y me di cuenta que no venia con el DVD que viene en los paises lationamericanos. Y por eso se merece al menos 2 estrellas. Lo unico nuevo que trae este CD es Quisiera Ser, The Family, y 3 mixes. Se supone que traia un DVD con muchas sorpresas incluyendo todos los videos que se han hecho mas las actuaciones que hicieron para walmart, lo que seria siendo el backstage de walmart. y mas entrevistas y cosas asi.

Este disco doble de edicion limitada es sencillamente espectacular.

Nueva presentacion. Disco adicional. Los remixes son bastante buenos. Ademas contiene la version "Muro" (de Noche). Aquel tema de Carlos Varela incluido en el disco "Once maneras de ponerse un sombrero". Esta vez, más intimo.

Lo unico que le faltaria a este disco es el tema Yolanda que no entro al disco anteriormente citado.

Disco imprecindible para todo coleccionista.

Bose is spectacular in his latest release. The music alone is enough to fill your life with a desire to LIVE. But if you get the opportunity to see the Morenamia video...Yikes...if you weren't in love before, you surely will be now!

This special edition, 2-CD set of Miguel Bose's Sereno album came out late last year, having been preceded by the album itself which came out early in 2002. Talk about saving the best for last! All those who have delayed buying this album should go out and get this limited edition 2-disc collection right now because it is too good to miss out on. The first disc is basically the entire Sereno album. The second bonus disc (which is the real reason to pay a few dollars extra for this edition) is an unbelievable collection of dance mixes that have enhanced Miguel's vocals and given him club credibility. First, let's discuss CD 1: While many have compared Bose to Sting, he really plays with more diverse styles and has a more distinct vocal style. After all, when was the last time you heard Sting do a 2-step track (even though he's from the UK) and sung in French, for example? Sereno covers a whole myriad of musical styles, from pop, rock, funk, dub, electronica, East Indian rhythms, and yes, 2-step. The first track, Puede Que, starts out as a nice pop song but ends climactically with Indian tablas, giving a preview to the diversity of the album. Other standouts include El Hijo de Capitan Trueno with its dub-reggae infused track and a very familiar bass drum riff, and Morenama, a delicious UK garage/2-step track that evokes cool days and hot nights on the Costa del Sol.There are also the more rock-oriented songs like Gulliver and Mirarte; the title track, Sereno, incidentally is done more in an 80s dance rock vein which works tremendously well with Bose's vocals. The second CD, the dance remixes collection, is the real reason for buying this collection. While the first CD makes for great listening, the second disc makes for great party music. The match-ups between Miguel and some of the hottest European remixers is incredible. There are two mixes each of Sereno and Nena. The Dr Kucho Weekend Mix of Sereno, in particular, tightens up the dance feel of the original song, giving it housier accents. There are three remixes of Bandido (Miguel's all-time hit) and they are all great: the Groove Brothers go for an early 90s pop-house vibe while the Pumpin' Dolls give it an irresistible high-house makeover. They also do a remix for La Mer, with Miguel singing that French classic (surprise!), which is the perfect soundtrack to any all nighter. In fact, these are two of the best Pumpin' Dolls remixes they have ever done. The compilers of this CD have done a great job in putting together the best and rarest mixes, including the extendid mix of 8th Wonder/Duende, a collaboration between globetrotting legends Kevorkian and Goh Hotoda. With so many rare and precious treats on the bonus disc, plus the brilliance of the first disc, this is one special edition pack (and marketing success) that is a true keeper.

Bosé is back!!.......2002-12-05

After several years of not hearing anything new by Bosé (aside from the release of Bandido2000 and Nena2000) We finally get these amazing CD, whith a bonus one with exellent previously unreleazed re-mixes. Sereno delivers a mix of soulfoul pop-rock that makes us think of a spanish version of Sting. The first single "Morena mia" simply masterful.

A waste of talent.......2005-06-03

I sure lost my money on this CD. The idea to make this album was good but..... it just did not happen. All the excellent artists invited to make it were not sufficient. It was just a waste of talent. The songs were poor, specially the one with Milly Quezada "Somos Tal Para Cual", no wonder nobody want to listen to "salsa" lately. The only one tune that is really good is "Mas". Being an Ismael Miranda follower since the 70's it's just dissapointing to have bought this album. Only 8 tunes and a little over 30 minutes. I guess they were just thinking about making a quick buck, and probably they will succeed.

Awesome production, great artists, TOO SHORT.......2005-06-01

This record gets 4 stars for being short (only 8 tracks, total running time of 37 minutes). That's a stab at the producer(s)...you don't make a 37 minute CD and sell it for $15.00 or more...that's just being cheap with the customers.

Aside from that little pet peeve, the production is top-notch Sergio George material...old (guest singers) meets new (DLG, Timba-ish type of funky salsa). You will definitely dance and wiggle your feet to this one. Strangely enough..it's Ismael's CD...yet the album comes across more as a "all-stars" joint...it's just like he was one of the invited guest...not the star of the show.

Would have been a memorable CD in my book...if only the shortness of it didn't piss me off so much...
