Hola ciber compardores, sólo unas líneas para este disco doble, porque realmente las merece, desde hace varios años este album se hacia esperar, todos los exitos de Franco de Vita, y no es necesario que los mencione, si vives enamorado, y eres bien feeling, imposible que te lo pierdas. Más que como admirador de Franco, como admirador de la BUENA MUSICA... olvidemos a Ricky Martin, J Lo y esos cantantes basura... sólo pon el disco y siéntate al lado de la persona que más amas... y a escuchar... No te arrepentirás...

LO MEJOR DE FRANCO!.......2000-09-13

Aqui podras encontrar todos los exitos de Franco De Vita. Como por ejemplo "No Basta", "Louis", "Buen Perdedor" y "Sera" entre muchos otros. Franco De Vita ha llevado su hermosa musica atravez de todo el mundo. Este catautor venezolano todo lo que escribe o canta se convierte en un exito. Tambien recomiendo los siguientes CD's: "Eterno" de Luis Fonsi, "Pasional" de Jéssica Cristina, "Tres" de Fiel A La Vega, "Son By Four" de Son By Four y "Como La Flor" de Gia Vanessa.

A good introduction to a great Latin talent..........2000-02-13

For more than 15 years, Franco De Vita has been one of the most consistently creative and inventive artists on the Latin pop scene. "Serie Milennium" gathers together several of his hits in a nice two-disc set. The plusses are, of course, the songs: Few people can rival De Vita in creating moving pop-rock at its most atmospheric. The hits here include such Latin-radio classics as "Louis," "No Basta," "Un Buen Perdedor" and "Somos Tres." The discs include material from both Sonotone and Sony, Franco's two labels. And the Sonotone material sounds great, much better than some of the muddy-sounding CDs that featured the material.

On the down side, the package is hardly definitive: Nothing from 1992 onward is here, meaning such major hits as "Calido y Frio," "Entre Tu Vida y La Mia," "Traigo Una Pena" and "Fuera de Este Mundo" are missing. And there are no liner notes or lyrics, which are essential for a singer-songwriter such as De Vita.

So while the package may not be perfect, the music certainly is as close to perfect as Latin pop gets.

DEFECTIVE--DO NOT BUY.......2000-01-13

Disc one is NOT Flans and does not contain the songs listed. That means that some of the best songs are not here. This is a very disappointing product from Universal Music's Latin division. We should expect better from those trying to cash in on our "explosion."

This CD is EXCELLENT, but there is a problem........1999-12-27

I have bought FLANS Serie Millenium 21 two times because it has 21 hits of this mexican pop group, but this edition in one of CD'S (contains 2 CD'S) has songs of another pop group (Timbiriche). I hope that Universal Records put more attention in his products.

Incorrect Audio Samples for Flans.......1999-12-26

You have audio samples for Serie Millennium 21 by Flans. Unfortunately, some of your audio samples are not from this Flans cd. Several of the audio samples are really from Serie Millennium 21 by Timbiriche. For example, the audio sample you have for the Flans song "Bazar" is really an audio sample of "Acelerar" by Timbiriche, and the audio sample you have for "Timido" by Flans is really "Besos de Ceniza" by Timbiriche. "A cado paso" by Flans is actually an audio sample of "Corro, vuelo, me acelero" buy Timbiriche. I am not sure about your audio sample for "Poquito a poco" by Flans, but your samples for "Me he enamorado de un fan," "No me quiero casar," and "No me Olvides" (all by Flans) seem to be the correct samples for the song titles. I have the cd Serie Millennium 21 by Timbiriche, and so I am quite sure that you do not have the correct audio samples for Serie Millennium 21 by Flans for the audio samples that I mentioned as being incorrect. As further evidence, Flans is an all-girl group while Timbiriche is composed of both men and women, so when you hear men singing in what is supposed to be a Flans audio sample, you can be quite sure that the people singing are not Flans. You should be more careful. There are many Spanish pop groups that were very popular during the eighties that are now releasing original recordings of their greatest hits on albums entitled Serie Millennium 21. Another thing that you might want to check is if the English spelling of millennium that you are using is really the correct spelling for the cd title since the word for millennium in Spanish is milenio. Furthermore, you apparently misled the person who reviewed the Flans cd besides me into thinking that he was going to get songs from the Timbiriche cd, or you sent him the Timbiriche cd when you should have sent him the Flans cd. I hope that you correct this problem before I decide to order this Flans cd from you. I like Flans, and Timbiriche is okay too, but I would be very upset if you sent me a Timbiriche cd by mistake.

The best from one of Latin music's greatest vocalists........2003-06-13

Wether as a romantic bolerista or salsa singer Paquito Guzman is simply an all-around excellent singer. Though mostly unknown outside of salsa and bolero circles, his velvet-smooth vocals and classy, elegant stage presence truly do place him in the pantheon reserved for the likes of Julio Iglesias, Raphael, Jose Jose and other legendary Latin singers. This 2-CD set includes all of his 1980-89 hit songs (including such salsa romantica classics as "Ven O Voy", "Cinco Noches"' "Ser Amantes"' "Esa Mujer", "25 Rosas" and "Tu Amante"). Paquito is a truly gifted yet criminally overlooked singer worthy of superstardom.

Este CD doble te llevara con nostalgia a la escencia de la carrera de Amanda aqui encontraras verdaderas joyas en relacion con los años en que su voz, como las letras y los arreglos musicales (Muchos de Diego Verdaguer) se complementaron para llevarnos a identificarnos con la mayoria de las canciones. En lo personal como FAN de Amanda me hubiera gustado que se incluyeran joyas como "Amanda al Piano (Cancion de Cuna al Reves)" (Misma que le dedica a su bebe recien nacido) esta cancion es una excelente combinacion de su voz con el piano, la recomiendo ampliamente. This disc set is not so much an anthology or greatest hits package as it is 2 actual separate album c.d.s released in their own entirety. Ms. Flores has been widely known in the Latin novela industry for her skillful acting. However, the real surprise is that she is also a talented singer in her own artistic right. Many of the songs are composed or written by the legendary Mexican musical artist Marco Antonio Solis (ex-member of the group Los Bukis) and a few by actor/singer Joan Sebastian (man,not a woman)! The songs are both romantic, yet danceable. The tracks are of different musical Latin styles (bolero, cumbia, balada, with a hint of ranchera).This is music that can be enjoyed by both Spanish and non-Spanish listeners; You don't have to speak the language to realize it's music that comes from the heart and soul.Some tracks have a Hispanic version or feel that could be comparable to American country-western music.It's more Shania (pop-country) than Loretta Lynne (traditional country)...

The song Una Y Otra Vez is the coolest one of all. I have heard it in Gotita de Amor. It is a mixture of soul and ballad. Laura showed much emotion in this song. Me Queda Vacia is a mixture of classical and love music. I hope I get a translation of Una Y Otra Vez in English. I hope this CD of Laura sells in the Philippines.

I am very aware that many layback artists release CD's with a compilation of their "best" recordings to make a few more bucks. Knowing my countrywoman Mercedes' professionalism, honesty and dignity, I dare say this is not such a case. If you do not own ANY CD by Mercedes Sosa and wonder why so many people are attracted to her incredible voice and soul, this double CD is what you need. Very few of her best recordings were left out of the selection. To whomever did this selection, well... hats off!! Everything is included: sweet Argentine traditional music, bold Latin America new songs, tangos, and even Argentine rocks. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! And when you're done listening both CD's then you ask for more. That's our "Mecha" "La Negra" Sosa, Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations, as designated this year by UNESCO: an incredible human being and impressive artist.

Excellent Compilation Of His Greatest Songs!!!.......2001-05-16

I bought this CD when it first came out about 1 year ago. I'm surprised it hasn't gotten any reviews so I'm going to put my 2 cents in first. Rudy La Scala is one of the most talented, emotional, passionate and successful Latin American sonwriters there is. He has written countless numbers of excellent songs for telenovelas, other artists, his own albums, etc. I first heard his music when I was 15 years old on a trip to Latin America, since I am from there, and I instantly fell in love with his music. He sings with a passion, depth, heartache, and range of voice that only a true master can sing with. All the songs on this compilition are excellent, and include some of his best, like "Mi Vida Eres Tu" and "Porque Sera", not to mention "Es Que Eres Tu" and some of his later hits. All in all, this album is worth the money and if you're on this page it's because you are already a fan of Rudy's! Bravo, Rudy!!!
