Lucybell: the first step to step into the chilean bands........2003-01-18

When you hear of Chile first thing that come in your mind is the mexican food. But Chile is a country of South America, where there's great music. Lucybell is one of the greatests rock bands of Chile. So, if you have never heard anything from them, this is the choice you have to take. "Sesion Futura" is a live recording of the greatest hits of Lucybell, so you can get to know what are they into. They are a mix of britpop and rock, that sounds pretty good, so you don't have to understand spanish to like it.
I strongly recommend this album for all the fans of latin music, and for the people that don't like it or don't know it, well, this is the point of no return. You hear it and you need to listen to more.

It is really disappointing to learn that the domestic release from this live masterpiece has only twelve songs instead of eighteen. Anyway, if you can't find that other release buy this one. Once you listen to it you will simply not believe your ears; if it not were for the screams of a live audience, you will guess that this isn't a live CD. But it is a live recording. Like Soda Stereo, Lucybell pays special attention to how they sound live, so, this recording have the same quality as a studio version, but with the tinge of a live audience. Believe me when I tell you, this CD is a unmerciful masterpiece, and is destined to prevail in your Discman or car stereo. Why then waste your time listening to another bunch of wackos playing the same ska when you can have this?? Buy it or lose. Lucybell has come to stay. So, check this out. Enjoy.

LO MEJOR.......2002-11-24

The chileno version of this is one of the absolute best CDs I have ever purchased. I was disappointed to see that only 12 tracks appear on the US release. This is an incredibly-accurate representation of how they are, en vivo. So, I'd recommend trying to find it as an 18 track import first, but if you can't find it, this will do.

Lucybell sigue creciendo..........2002-11-21

It's unfortunate that this album is being released with only 12 tracks. The original Chilean domestic release has 18 tracks. Fortunately I was able to buy it online from the Feria del Disco website. I very much recommend that version. Nevetherless, this live album proves that Lucybell is also a great live band. The quality of the music and songs only improves in their live renditions...

Lucybell is the reason music makes u feel there's a way out of normal conventional types of muisc and musician, lyrics are just awesome and music is great, it moves u and takes u places....how he describes things and the feeling in his songs.....they had a bit of a setback with their last album....they have enough fame to be cool enough and not sell out...they're ahead of many musicians that are doing things they did years ago...and their live album is just amazing...i did love the first line up, but things change, i'm waiting to listen to their newest work...i'd strongly recommend both the live album, sesion futura, and lucybell, the red album...opera prima, ellos toman el microfono y representan, they got it...al what is needed

no he oido otro disco en vivo que sea mas intenso que sesion futura, no me canso de tocarlo, tengo las 2 versiones y definitivamente vale la pena comprar el de 18 canciones.

Excellent band!! The best South American band in my book!
This one contains alot of their killer old tunes, like "Vete", "sembrando en el mar," "Carnaval," "Mil caminos," and "de sudor y ternura" - all of which are fabulous tunes, as are all of the tunes from "amenece".
If you have not heard these Chilenos, then you need to. They are a spacey rock band that mixes a bit of electronica and goth into their style, they are WAY BETTER than La Ley. They are, in my opinion the best band to come from South America since the mighty Soda Stereo themselves.
There you have it.

Gotta have the bonus tracks!.......2003-12-29

Sesion Futura is the album I lend to friends who are just starting to get to know Lucybell. It has a fine mix of past and "present" (at the time of release) singles that show the band's scope as well as their historical sound. It's definitely worth it to get this version with the bonus tracks. I'm surprised they're even labelled as bonus, they're so essential! Milagros is a giant hit, and a touching moment at any Lucybell concert: the audience always sings the last two lines to the band. And how could you listen to a live Lcbl set without ending it with their goodbye/lullabye-type anthem Vete?

muy buen disco.......2003-11-08

Realmente me parecio un disco muy bueno.....hace años ya que escucho a lucybell...aunque en argentina no se escuche, y este disco tiene la escencia misma del grupo.....tiene muy bueno climas.....y suena de la ostia....lo sigo escuchando y no me aburre para nada.....lo recominedo totalmente.
