Highly recommended -- This CD is great! .......2007-01-31

I don't review things very often, but I really like this group and this CD deserves some support. I just discovered this group recently. Congratulations Los Horoscopos! You are now officially a hit! You have been discovered by Scott Frost in Kenmore, Washington!

Okay, while they're celebrating, I'll just say that their music is great and the vocals (male and female) are great, but when Vicky and Marisol sing together, it's even more wonderful. When I first heard them perform "Que Vuelva," they reminded me of ABBA, one of my all-time favorite groups. Apparently, someone else thought the same thing. I also bought the "Desatados" CD (which is also very good!) and on that one they do a cover of ABBA's "Take A Chance On Me." If I were to give them any advice (since I'm such an expert), I would suggest that they make more use of Vicky and Marisol's harmonizing abilities. I don't mean to ignore the men, who are very talented!

Los Horoscopos de Durango mostly does upbeat music which makes it impossible to sit still while listening to them. It is happy music and the world needs more of that. I would love to hear them do more ballads, though.

This CD comes with a DVD which contains four music videos. These are a nice bonus. They have a sense of humor to them, as you may know if you've seen them on Univision or elsewhere and Vicky and Marisol are quite charming. :) But this CD would be worth the price even without the DVD.

Take a chance on them!

Great CD but better with the DVD!.......2007-01-31

I reviewed this CD on the page that has the enhanced CD/DVD version. I think this is a great CD (see my other review, if you wish.) But it is better with the music videos if you enjoy their light-hearted sensibilities on the videos, which I do. If you don't care about music videos, just get this CD. It is very good.

This one is worth the money.......2006-06-08

This cd is probably their best. The only song that they should have left alone is yo sigo aqui. It just doesn't go with their style. The rest of the songs are good. (they just need to quit copying everyone!)

Can you believe they did it again? Para empesar este grupo tiene como treinta años, PERO CON EL NOMBRE!!!! Es como que los Tigres del Norte cambien completamente de musicos, y llegen a celebrar el 140 Aniversario! Como que no, verdad? Los Horoscopos tienen muy poco tiempo con las dos vocalistas orribles frente a la luz. La mas orrible, Vicky, se siente que es Mariah Carey y se avienta unos gritos super chocosos al fin de las canciones. Que no save que se mira y escucha como hombre? No mal gasten en este disco. Mejor pidanle a sus tias o abuelitas que canten mientras ustedes le pegan a una casuela. Los resultados serian los mismos!

It's great.......2005-06-18

This album is a very good follow up to "Locos de Amor". The girls sing more on this cd, there's some remade songs of course like "Y yo sigo aqui" and more. And "Obsesion" at the end is pretty cool, it makes the cd even better. I would definitely recommend this cd especially to lovers of "Pasito Duranguense".
