Product Description
A Chicago Architecture Exposition Where Alaska and Nacho Canut (Fangoria) Assisted Inspired the Name of this Record. They Chose this Name as a Contradiction and Logically Because They were in the Process of Creating the Album with Effective Pop Songs and "Efimera" Or "EPHIMERAL" Only Endures for a Short Time. Produced by Carlos Jean Together with the Spanish Duo, Arquitectura Efimera Counts on 12 Songs Based on Guitars and Electronica - the Purest Fangoria Style but with Grand Artistic Construction.
"La mano en el fuego" ("The hand into fire") is the opening song of this material which gives you a perfect introduction into the rest of the tracks. The voice of this girl sounds deeply, sometimes depressive, but always is well-connected with the emotions of the dark lyrics. The Fangoria's proposal is extremely authentic, they don't care about the trends of the market, they only want to expose to us their musical concept.
Besides the first song, my favorites tracks are: "Miro la vida pasar" ("I look at the life passing in front of me") and "Adiós" ("Good-bye"), but the complete album is pure high-quality material. In addition, this special-edition includes a DVD with the full bracket of videos used during the promotion of this album. Some of this videos are good, others are just funny whereas the rest are just low-budget productions. Anyway, if you are looking for something different in Spanish music, Fangoria is for you!
All the songs are good, "Teatro del dolor is good but is the slowest song from the album.
If I should choose tow favorites, those would be: "Retorciendo Palabras" and "Nave espacial abandondada"
In this CD, the have an special way to finish the songs, withe beats or something that could make you think that the song will continue.
I bought this and Naturaleza Muerta together, but I preffer for much this.
After listening to Arquitectura Efimera several times, I still think Naturaleza Muerta is their most "solid" album; however, Fangoria cuts loose more on this one. La Mano en el Fuego sets the tone- Fangoria uses "dirty" synth beats, making this song more danceable than anything on the last album. Retorciendo Palabras is more frenetic than even No Se Que Me Das, building to a climatic end. The other obvious choice for a single, Miro La Vida Pasar, is simply one of their best ever, something tailor-made for the dance floor, with Alaska's signature voice and delivery. It's a shame no samples of these new songs have been posted on Amazon.
Someone here mentioned their dislike for Nadie Mejor Que Tu, but I have to disagree. It starts out with a minimal sound and a dry-treatment of Alaska's vocal, then a cool bassline emerges, before a full-on rock guitar is unleashed.
From then one, there are a couple of less-than-best songs, but most are satisfactory. The second-to-last track, Teatro Del Delor, is quickly becoming another favorite. It is one of those melancholy, yet soul-affirming, songs that draws you in every time.
Of course, there are a couple of standards that you can expect from any Fangoria album. The first is their patent weirdness. For Entre Mil Dudas, they employ a sound effect like a jungle animal's howl, filtered mechanically. The other key element is an atheist lyric, which surfaces on Nadie Mejor Que Tu. Translated, the line is, "Why do you believe in a god that never believed in you?"
I hope that Fangoria will keep releasing albums- we need this departure from the ordinary!

Without a place to doubt, this is an excellent work of Fangoria, electronic music with words in Castilian (Spanish), in this material of Alaska a work is at the same time appraised tomultidiscipline when adding videos and photographies of contemporary plastic artists. It is not only for followers of the group, but of all those that please of innovating the artistic concepts
