POWERFULL,WONDERFULL, AND UNDERATING.......2006-08-10

From Venezuela, this girls makes a decent pop-rock album,The big surprise i how versatile they can be. Powerfull rock with "Ruleta de amor", Wonderfull lyrics, and underating for the audience who just ignore this great cd. But you just cant ignore the awesome tracklist which includes a great song with Winsil & Yandel. Also includes " Por que no" "Pintando" and "Nunca mas". So Buy it, you wont be reget.

Venezuelan Grrrrl power!.......2004-11-06

Tisuby González and Georgina León (aka TyG) each played in separate bands before teaming up and winning a well-known Pop Idolesque Venezuelan television contest (and a record deal through Líderes Entertainment Group). Their first album, Sueños Simples, was released in 2001.

Two years later in 2003, the girls released their sophomore effort, Ruleta del Amor, recorded in Spain and produced by Luca Rustici and Miguel Blasco. The twelve original songs (and one bonus remix) are fine examples of female Latin rock. The girls both play guitar (Tisuby acoustic and Georgina electric), and their voices are a perfect match as most songs feature extensive harmony. The lyrics are all self-penned, touching on love and loss in a poetic, engaging manner.

The CD booklet is more like a fashion magazine--there are multiple "pull out" pages of glamour shots of Tisuby and Georgina (who are photogenic to say the least).

My hands-down favourite is Por Qué No, with its haunting harmony and steady acoustic guitar backbeat. Other standouts include Pintando, sampled from Nelly Furtado's Turn Off the Light, gritty rock anthem Ruleta Del Amor, Give Me One More Time (in the same haunting, melancholy vein as Por Qué No), and the hip-hop version of Por Qué No. At time the girls' vocal style brings to mind Shakira (Historia Sin Final) and Spanish Operación Triunfo winner Ainhoa (Tengo, No Me Acostumbro). A disc not to be missed by fans of Latin Pop/Rock. If you enjoy Tisuby & Georgina, try Ha-Ash (Ha-Ash), Ainhoa (Esencia Natural), and Shakira (Dónde Están Los Ladrones, Remixes).

Talento de exportacion........2004-04-29

Estoy muy agradecido y muy orgulloso de que en Venezuela hay muy talento que exportar ya que solo c ven en el mercado artistas Mexicanos o Ciolombianos, chilenos respetando a los presentes, pero como Venezolano las apoyo muchismo y la gente que viva en el extranjero lo compre o por lo menos escuchenlo de un amigo, el material de este disco es asombroso es muy bueno y con un estilo algo muy rockero pero a la vez muy suave, es un honor que tengan este disco que no los defraudaran.

I first heard "Ruleta del amor" and loved it, then the "Por qué no" version with reggaetón singers Wisin & Yandel and I totally had to buy this cd. I did and IT'S GREAT!. I can't stop listening it.

I bought this CD just for curiosity and I was surprised of discovering how talented these girls are. The Lyrics are really cool, I think they should be promoted more, anyone who bet for their success will win.
