Bought this cd in Cuba December 03 one of the best cd's I have.

I am not sure why this Amazon entry says "various artists," since Cubanito is a single group.

Anyway, this is an infectious CD with a strong Cuban flavor. Add in hip-hop and you've got a recipe for great music!

I recommend the Orishas, for those who like this CD

A la vida cubana.......2004-09-20

This album is awesome. I spent a semester studying in Havana, and everywhere you go down there, you'll hear a song off of this album bumping. I typically listen to rock-a-billy and punk, but there is something about this album that leaves me unable to eject it from my cd player. It has a little bit of everything - smooth, aggressive, beautiful, and silly. It's a good time. If you like any kind of latin music, hip-hop, jazz, or soul, you will get some use out of this album.
