An underexposed classic........2006-02-17

Roberto Anglero is one of Puerto Rico's greatest songwriters--his compositions have appeared on albums by such legends as Willie Rosario, Bobby Valentin, Cheo Feliciano, Pete "Conde" Rodriguez and Sonora Poncena (to name but a few!). This is a classic-flavored but very experimental Salsa CD which should be in your collection. Anglero's vocal and improvisational style falls somewhere between those of Ismael Rivera and Pete "Conde" Rodriguez but is instantly recognizable. A classic.
