At the outset this youthful hunk got criticized, and in some cases deservedly, for seemingly cashing in on the revered name and distinguished career his father, Robert Pulido. But even on this debut album it was clear the younger Pulido was on to something. The first single and title track connected immediately with its hooky beats and easy sing-along chorus. The young lion had taken a page from his father's book--simple rhythmic cumbias with snap, crackle, and pop. Weak-voiced, Pulido wisely took voice lessons and steadily improved with each successive album. I think this is a very good song. Warning: When this song starts playing you will get up and start dancing. Unfortunally, this song did not get any air play in San Antonio, Texas. So if you want to here this song you have to buy the cd.

enchanting Tejano music.......1998-10-18

SE MURIO DE AMOR and ENSENAME are two tracks on this CD that you will wish will never stop. This is wonderfully smooth Tejano music that you can listen to over and over. For awhile, in this metro area, the DJ's kept playing these two songs, again, and again. I don't know spanish, so I don't know what the words mean -- they just sound wonderful.

It just keeps getting better.......2006-01-20

This is his best one yet. He just keeps getting better. This CD is a little different than his others. Like his last CD Montame he has a special guest on one of his tracks-a Duranguense group. So yes he has a little Duranguense on this song, but it is very believable and came out very well. He has the same song in it's original version but they are both very good. Literally every song will have you tappin your steering wheel. Vive is just fantastic-he wrote it and it has some real depth to its lyrics. Ojala y te animes and Movidas are my favorite, well they all are, but these lyrics will crack you up and the beats are unstoppable. If you have any other Bobby CD'S this is a must to your collection...if you don't this is the one to start with.

This CD like all of Bobby's is a perfect mix of his Tejano/Norteño backround. This particular CD has a great mix of slow romantic songs-Bobby style-nothing sappy and and some great catchy-get your feet tapping songs as well. I love this CD and have two copies of it.

This surely is one of his best cd. He changes a litte bit of his Tejano side, and becomes to show a more romantic side. I really love all of his song, but
Just listen to "A TU LADO", "SOY YO", and "HEY" (a remake or cover of the famous JULIO IGLESIAS song) and you'll fall in love with Bobby for ever.

I really like this album, not just as a fan, but the lirics and rythms are wonderful, you can't pass the chance to liste the song: "HEY", this song was famous in JULIO IGLESIAS voice,, bobby make this song TEJANO STYLE, , then you can't miss "SOY YO" that will melt your heart, then "A TU LADO" will make you dream about pulido, don't forget "AMOR SIN RODEOS", the best!

I really enjoy this CD--I think it's Bobby's best yet (even better than his newest release, "Bobby")His vocals are noticeably stronger on this one which makes it very enjoyable to just listen to, if you can keep from singing along. Great songs, great accordian skills, great variety. If you like Bobby Pulido's music, this is definitely a must have for your collection! I think I need to buy another copy of this one before mine finally wears out.

Outstanding vocals and instrumentation.......2002-04-19

This is an excellent album. It shows why so many young Latinos that I meet are fans of this young (and attractive) artist. The accordion player is fantastic. The arrangements are a mixture of fiery dance tunes and emotional ballads.

This was the beginning of bobby, you can find a taste for everyone with the cd. Start with DESVELADO, then go to QUIERO DECIRTE, for the anglo there are CINDY DON'T KNOW and REGRETFULLY, this is a cd, surely you won't regret to have in your collection as a pulido fan.

Upbeat, perky, uplifting, wonderful sounding Tejano music. You do not need to know Spanish - I don't and the CD still sounds wonderful.

The new album titled "El Cazador" for Bobby Pulido is definitely an enjoyable one. This album is seen as a change for this young artist from his traditional tejano beat to more of a cumbia like twist making it more danceable than previous recordings.
