Maura Began Singing in her Native Puerto Rico as a Child. At Age 14, She Established Herself in San Juan Where She Played with Alarma, an All-girl Heavy Metal Band who Recruited her Once They Heard her Incredible Voice. They Performed in New York and Los Angeles. She Met the Argentinean Musician (Sergio Rotman) and Fell in Love. Sergio and Mimi Joined Together their Love for Ska, Calypso and Reggae as Well and Formed a Band with their Friends: Martin Aloe and Fernando Ricciardi, Bassist and Drummer of Cienfuegos/Los Fabulosos Cadillacs. They Later Had the Opportunity to Open for the Cadillacs and Sonic Youth.
