Gloria Lasso is a good singer and there are nice songs on this 2-CD edition. But the sound quality of the recordings is terrible. No, this is not worth the money... Too bad...

Hi and, if you haven't bought this doble cd yet, what are you waiting for?
As i listen to these beautiful songs again, i go back to where beautiful times i lived! I thought i was never going to be able to find these songs that i had in my head but, i was wrong.

Thanks to the new technology and thanks to places like Amazon, we are able to find these treasures who seemed to be lost for everer! When you listen songs like(Un Pueblo es, N'a veirina do mar, Canta Cigarra, El Cantor, etc), you go back to where Music, words and voice, used to go togheter to create a wonderful world of art!

I hope you buy this pack so you too, can go back and enjoy again those beautiful moments which we thoght were lost.

I've been trying for nearly 30 years to find recordings of María Ostiz and I'm over the moon to have finally found this compilation, which contains old favourites and other melodies I've not heard before.

María Ostiz has an exceptional voice with exceptional control and an exquisite Castilian accent, and nowhere is this more evident than in Canción del ruiseñor (Song of the nightingale), where her voice just soars like a bird.

The orchestral arrangements by the late Waldo de los Ríos are as good as ever and complement this magnificent set. I want more!
