El hablar de Les Luthiers es hablar de un grupo de musicos/humoristas que han superado las cinco estrellas, es decir que la categoria cinco estrellas les ha quedado chica.

Finally i can get this cd. And is even better than everything she had done before. Her 1rst single "Lo Mejor de Mi" catch my attention,stronger than ever, Lynda makes her comeback ( The video looks like parodious of The Famme Nikita,very fun,and as the song full of energy),"Mala Leche" her second single is even more angry,( The idea of the video of Lynda Vs. Evil Lynda was stunnin!!¡A Doppleganger!!)This time Lynda lead us across a musical travel, you can heard this cd for hours and just can't get bored..."Ay,Ay,ay"( a fun Ranchera-song)"Para Ti"(a really great love-nostalgic song),"Perdedor"( full of ironic verses against a bad ex) and "Polen( Todas Las Mujeres) are amazing!! Now Lynda sounds secure about her vocal skills, and all the lyrics that she wrote are deep, smart and full of angry, love of just pure honesty. I enjoy every second of the this new jewel of the pop-rock music...Sorry, Shakira, but even if u are the Queen of the genre, Lynda makes me forget about u for long time. ( No need to argue about this).-Buy it, really worth it.

Best album from Lynda yet!.......2005-09-10

This artist with the rastafarian hairdo is the real deal. Not only does she sings but she also writes her own songs in this album. Lynda employs the infusion of several musical styles that help her come up with a unique style of her own.

Every song has different connotations that can be interpreted by the listener as she or he sees fit. The songs deal with very human issues, most of them having to do with the empowerment of women by demanding respect in every aspect of their lives.

It's because of this, that some male reviewers who have listened to the songs included in POLEN, claim the album is simply feminist and against men. Not true.

Lynda speaks not just to women but also to men, and she simply demands respect for their female partners/mothers/daughters. And the men she bashes are the ones that live a misogynistic and macho way of life.

Some of Lynda's best songs from this album include "Lo Mejor de Mí", "Para Tí", "Ay Ay Ay" and "Estoy de Pie". Please give this CD a try.

This is Lynda's best album EVER! She finally wrote her own music and lyrics as well. I am mostly a ballad fan, so my favorite songs in this album are: Amar Asi, Para Ti (my very favorite!!) and which I found out recently to be written to that guy Lynda was with in 1999 or 2000 who ended up leaving Tijuana and this led to the end of their relationship...This reminds me of my very own love story, that's why I like it so much. Estoy De Pie is a very good song as well, filled with melancholy. POLLEN!! A great song which led her to kick off with HER GENERACION POLEN. Lynda is not only a women rights' activist, but also a member of GREENPEACE. I'm tired of hearing those comments that say she is trying to be like Shakira, Lynda has her own and rather unique voice and style; she has shown that she can sing Rap, Dance, Pop, Ballads, and soon she will perform the new Electro-Pop. LYNDA ROCKS!!

Hi, ok, i just wanted to first say thanks to John H. for writing his review because that helped me make the final decision of buying "Polen"> it is one of the best cds EVER!!!!!!!!!! Me encanta! Lynda es una super buena cantante con mucho talento. Todas sus canciones son muy poderosas y magnificas. I don't have a favorite song, they're all amazing!! I was wondering if anyone had the lyric to her songs. cuz like theyre not included and that made me angry becuase i dont see why they cant put them in. anyways the awesomeness of the cd makes up for the lack of lyrics. ...
