About the Artist
After performing on Cape Cod and at (and around)the Univ.of New Hampshire from 1979 to 1984 on the folk/rock bar circuit, Mike returned to upstate New York and performed in various musical groups. "Hair of the Dog" was formed in 1991 and continues to be a international force on the Irish folk/rock music scene.

I live in the area where Mike plays with Hair of the Dog so I am used to their music. This album is over and above what Hair of the Dog does!

Mike has such a rich, beautiful voice, I could listen to him sing the phone book! Here you get a whole disc of his great singing, and get to sample his songwriting, too. (Don't tell Kevin McKrell, but I think Mike's version of Donegal is better than the original.)
