Oh dear..........2007-05-11
After creating four successful albums and ending an exhausting tour, Aerosmith finally decided to take time off to record new songs at an abandoned convent. By now, the band had gained much wealth and fame. On the flip side, it also allowed them to grow lazy and afford purchasing higher quality drugs.
As a result, band members would fail to show up for rehearsals; Steve and Joe would often blackout during recording sessions; Steve's singing sounds tired and drags - can't even hit the right key; the guitaring is not at all the tight teamwork it once was - in fact it sounds as if the band don't even want to be there recording; At times, it feels as if each member is off in their own worlds while playing and resulting in a huge mess; the recording itself is very shoddy and is dire need of remastering. The work on her is so shoddy that even the band today express regret and shame over their sloppiness.
Every song on here has potential of being solid hits. Unfortunately, they all fall short of their glory in some form or another. The title track may give off a good feel that the album is going to be just like Rocks, but it all rapidly goes downhill from there. My personal favorites would be the title track, "I wanna know why", "Get it up", and "Kings and Queens" but even those songs feel like something is missing.
But I guess that's what happens when the drugs and excessive hard-living become more important than the music. Unfortunately, this would be the beginning of the end for Aerosmith. Pretty soon, the egos got the better of the band and split ups occurred. Steve wound up collapsing at performances from the drugs and the band would almost go bankrupt with their antics for the next decade.
If you're new to Aerosmith, I'd avoid this album for the time being. I would get aquainted with their first four albums before attempting this one.
Aerosmith's Draw the line.......2007-04-03
"Draw the Line" is good. Not the greatest album. It has its moments like the title track,"Kings and Queens" and "Get it up".During that time of 1977. I was getting tired of Disco and ready to rock again with Aerosmith."Draw the Line" is okay to rock out to.
Aerosmith Succumbs To It's Demons.......2007-01-25
I remember the first time I heard the song "Draw The Line" I thought it was the heaviest thing I had ever heard in my life at the time. I had never heard anyone scream like Steven Tyler did at the end of the song. I wasn't sure if I liked it or not, but I knew it was something unique. Unfortunately after the title track this album does not live up to it's expectations. Draw The Line was where the band really started to slide and although there are some good tracks here, the overall quality of the album is not on the level of it's predecessors. "Kings And Queens" is a good track, and I have also always liked "Sight For Sore Eyes", but the rest of the album is very very average. Some of the lyrics are downright stupid....even for Aerosmith.
Draw the Line. Thats What I Did.......2007-01-20
This release drew the line for me with Aerosmith. There music on this and the following material up to date contain complete chaos. Aerosmith lost their rhythmn they once possessed on the prior four cds that were all five-star efforts. This album along with the latter day Aerosmith stuff is just noisey as far as I am concerned. I have the first four releases (Aeromsith, Get Your Wings, Toys in the Attic and Rocks all 5*****), but they no longer impress me except maybe for a track here and there. Or maybe I am just old!
Great Album, Awful Remaster.......2007-01-08
Draw the Line is an underrated Aerosmith album. It features some classic tracks: the title track, "Kings and Queens," and "Critical Mass." Tyler's vocals are raw and gritty, the musicianship dirty and energetic. The problem is the CD remaster (done in 1993). It is terrible. The music sounds muddy and compressed. Shame on Columbia Records for not lavishing more money on one of rock's most important bands by releasing high quality remasters. It is 2007, and this remaster is now 14 years old. It is time to have all new remasters of all of Aerosmith's albums done with the same quality that Capitol Records did for Grand Funk Railroad, and Rhino Records has done for countless other bands.

Draw the Line CD.......2007-05-07
This CD was recommended by my Pastor and I too recommend this to everyone else.
It is truly a ministering tool to your spirit and Angella is an awesome minister. If you like instrumental/jazz type gospel music, you won't be disappointed.
Excellent !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......2006-11-10
I was blessed with the opportunity to meet and speak to Angella Christie. She is a younglady with a beautiful, humble spirit, who plays straight from the heart. It's easy to see how her music touches your heart.
All her CD's are awesome. This CD is has a little of something for every age. I love all the songs. And I enjoy listening to it at work.
I am looking forward to her next CD.

Ghetto Mafia!!!.......2006-01-23
Representin for Eastside Atlanta. His is one of the less talked about groups from GA thats up there with Outkast, Goodie Mobb, etc. This album is easily a Southern Hip Hop Classic. Original, creative, bluesy, soulful, and funky...thats what southern hip hop is about....or used to be about

Underrated Aerosmith.......2004-12-19
Draw The Line (1977.) Aerosmith's fifth album.
In the mid seventies, classic rockera Aerosmith peaked. Their first two albums hinted at the greatness the band would achieve, and the next two took the band to heights not many other bands would ever be able to compete with. The band's fourth album, Rocks, would not be an easy one to top. But the following year, they tried to top it nonetheless. Read on for my review of the fifth studio effort from Steven Tyler and the boys, Draw The Line.
With this album, Aerosmith took their rock stylings in a grittier, more down-to-earth, blues-based hard rock direction. The result is an album that, while very good, fails to top either of the band's two albums that immediately came before it. Still, you get an album of sheer classic rock greatness. The obvious hit on this album was the classic title track. It's straight-up hard rock with that seventies Aerosmith touch to it - and you can't help but love it. They couldn't have started the album better. Another big hit to emerge from this release was the classic Kings And Queens. It's kicked off with one of the band's best guitar solos (that solo got cut from version on Aerosmith's Greatest Hits), and soon becomes an awesome rocker telling a tale of medieval times. The song DOES ramble on a bit too long, but when it rocks, it rocks. The album's other tracks are blues-based seventies hard rock at its best. While this album is certainly not another Toys In The Attic or Rocks, I don't tink any die-hard fan of the band will deny that it's a solid effort, through and through.
Aerosmith's catalogue was reissued and remastered, but the remasters series is a lame one. You get lyrics, but no bonus tracks or twofer releases. The band's cover of the Beatles' Come Together, along with some of the tracks in the Pandora's Box set, would have made good bonus cuts.
Draw The Line is not Aerosmith's strongest album, nor is it their weakest. It's an average Aerosmith album, but even their average albums put most band's good albums to shame. If you're a fan of the band, add this one to your collection. If you're new to the group, start with Toys In The Attic. Good as this album is, I don't deny that it's not a good place to start your Aerosmith collection.
