great tribute.......2003-10-12

I normally hate Springsteen tributes, but this is amazing. Into the Fire and Atlantic City are both incredible.

I don't know what the other guy is thinking.

Awful trash.......2003-06-19

This pains me to say it but as a collector of springsteen related stuff, thi smight very well be the worst yet. The string arrangements are pedestrain and amateur. The melodies are discernible but it hurts to hear those favourite tunes murdered like this

Bruce Goes To The Movies.......2000-10-10

When Jonathan Demme approached Bruce Springsteen to write a song for his about homosexual discrimination, Bruce had never written a song for a movie before. His first effort was good enough to earn him an Academy Award. "Streets Of Philadelphia" is a song that not only captures the spirit of the movie, but is a striking song that touches a chord. The single is worth buying not only for "Streets", but because it contains a version of "Growin' Up" from the MTV Plugged concert that was not broadcast.

For Avid Bruce Fans Only.......2000-03-11

Like me! Get it solely for "Growin' Up" which left off "MTV Plugged" for some unknown reason.

This is one of my all-time favorite songs. It comes from one of my favorite movies (Philadelphia). It's a very sad and nostalgic song and is very connected to the message and concept from the movie. Bruce Springstees shows us one more time what he can do
