Not Even Torn Apart.......2004-05-30

Joe Cocker still remains with his uncanny way of making songs into his own very well, and at 35 years in the industry, he still hasn't lost his touch. His single, Never Tear Us Apart, is a remarkable remake of the INXS track. The song matches Joe and at what he really does best. It arguably is one his best covers ever. The song is found off his record, Respect Yourself, which I sugest as a strong recommendation for any Joe Cocker fan. The song really matches as a better pick than INXS originated back in the late 80's. It is just a shame a lot of people still haven't heard this cover song. It is one of the Top 20 cover songs of all time.
