      I picked up this album, and a later MB album "Final Judgement," when I was in Berlin a couple of years ago. Probably the best music purchase I've ever made. Messer Banzani started out as a fairly mediocre German ska band, but they've really matured over the years. Each album has been an amazing improvement over the previous one. Their self-titled debut was a so-so Euro-ska album. Skagga-Yo was a little better, with a real breakout great in the track "Peace is Wonder." Language was significantly better, moving the band more towards the reggae theme that seems to be its true calling. We Bring the Sun is the natural progression from there, with some great modern reggae tunes and powerfully political lyrics. By far their most amazing album, though, is Final Judgement (sadly only available on Amazon.de). Easily the best overall album in my collection. I wish I could find a site in English that tells me if these guys are still making music together.

      If you like ska or modern reggae, you MUST pick up Messer Banzani. It's well worth the money!
