Classical guitar lovers looking for a jazzier change of pace shouldn't be disappointed by Nylon & Steel, Manuel Barrueco's album of duets with Al Di Meola, Steve Morse, and Andy Summers. But ironically enough, it's the two solo tunes that bookend this disc, Barrueco's "Odeon" and his solo guitar arrangement of Aaron Copland's "Rodeo," that are the real highlights. His three cuts with Di Meola are a mixed affair, but the interplay between the duo seems to gel on the longer "Azzurra." Steve Morse's electric guitar is loaded with Bill Frisell-like effects, but on "Wolvesville," he and Barrueco create an inspired and unleashed fusion between rock and classical music (the inspiration for the piece is a Villa-Lobos étude). Three mellow collaborations with Summers round out this set of intriguing guitar instrumentals. --Jason Verlinde

Billy Joel's chameleonlike leaps from style to style have never resulted in a more audacious album than 1982's Nylon Curtain. Gloriously overreaching both musically--Joel seems compelled to act as both Lennon and McCartney on this heavily Beatles-influenced disc--and thematically, he takes on everything from romance in an age of alienation ("Laura," "A Room of Our Own") to the sociopolitical causes of that alienation ("Goodnight Saigon," the moving recession saga "Allentown"). And it all works. As a portrait of a pop artist getting the Big Ideas out of his system, The Nylon Curtain is hard to beat. --Rickey Wright

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Billy Joel writes a novella for his generation.......2007-06-11

"The Nylon Curtain," to me, was the moment where Billy Joel reached musical adulthood. After the youthful energy of "Glass Houses'" new-wave tilt, Joel suddenly found himself looking at folks of his generation trapped in the Reagan Era while swallowing a heaping spoonful of Vitamin Disillusioned. The recessionary blues of "Allentown" (where "the restlessness was handed down") takes a depressed industrial Pennsylvania city and personifies the growing frustration of the union classes and their loss.

The opening single (and MTV staple) "Pressure" also carried that theme of frustration, but pulled it back to the individual. It's also the song that brought the most baggage from "Glass Houses," with its pulsing synthesizers and big drums. But that is where the 80's stopped on "The Nylon Curtain." The mid-60's Beatles are the obvious touchstone of this album, with the McCartney flourishes on "Laura" and the Lennon sweet/sour of "Surprises" the poles between which Joel spread the sound-scape of "The Nylon Curtin," also giving him the freedom to explore his lyrical range.

Nowhere was that more clear than on this album's centerpiece. "Goodnight Saigon" is - simply stated - the best song Billy Joel has ever written. Conjuring up imagery as common as The Doors, "Apocalypse Now" and every Southeast Asia War story you have ever heard, Joel outlines emotions common to the soldiers of his generation in very plain but poetic language. "We came in spastic like tameless horses. We left in plastic as numbered corpses" may be the most devastating couplet ever used in a top 40 song to describe the mundane horror of wartime. Yet "Goodnight Saigon" ties the horror and humanity when the swelling "And we would all go down together" chorus chimes in. It's a single song moment that Joel has yet to surpass. (The bonus video on the CD marks the only appearance of the rare video for the song, as well.)

The ghosts of war also seem to haunt "Scandinavian Skies," with its offbeat travelogue of flying across Europe. The orchestrations here, as well as throughout "The Nylon Curtain," are frequently ambitious, adding to the seriousness of the general proceedings. The sad strains that accompany "Where's The Orchestra" add a near Broadway-ish coda to the album, again accenting the ambitions. While Joel and his band were definitely aiming for the big musical statement, that doesn't mean they weren't willing to play a little loose. If you listen closely near the end of "A Room Of Our Own," you'll hear drummer Liberty DeVito lose his place during one of the choruses.

"The Nylon Curtain" was nothing like any previous Billy Joel albums. It is also completely in a separate category from the albums to follow. While he may have tried to follow these ambitions later on ("We Didn't Start The Fire" and "Leningrad" both spring to mind), "The Nylon Curtain" holds its status as Joel's most adventurous and personal album.

4 out of 5 stars Excellent!.......2007-05-14

I'm a Beatle fan, and I loved most of the songs of this album almost immediately. "She's Just in Time" is a GEM! "Allentown" has always been a Joel classic for me, always loved it. "Laura" simply incredible. "Pressure" is another of my favs. I really admire Billy's talent for great melodies and arrangements. I think I read somewhere Lennon admired him too, and he really like "Glass Houses".

5 out of 5 stars Billy Joel's peak is right here.......2007-02-28

Billy's career and songwriting peak is here...Contains these 4 pocket symphonies by Billy Joel that are timeless.
Laura - Possibly Billy's best song ever
Goodnight Saigon - Still a live favorite
A Room Of Our Own - Underrated
Scandinavian Skies - Another forgotten classic

3 out of 5 stars Fish out of water, somewhat.......2006-11-28

On this album, Billy Joel made his 'triumphant return' after taking a few years off, and tries to update his tin pan alley 70s sound to a more poppy, synthy 80s sound. This is a bit of a stepdown from the giddy "Glass Houses" and the earnest 'The Stranger'. The songs are just not as strong all the way through, although (1) "Pressure", "Allentown" and "Goodnight Saigon" were superb, instant classics, and (2) recordingwise, productionwise, the album has a 'snap' to it, I will admit.

Songwise, I find the rest of the album is more hit-and-miss. The Beatles influence is up front, like the background vocals in 'Laura', the Harrison stomp in "Room of Our Own", the McCartneyish melodic leaps in "Surprises". Not to mention the sluggish strings in "Scandinavian Skies", somewhat reminiscent of early ELO, Walls-and-Bridges era Lennon, and even Strawberry Fields. The songs themselves often sound a bit forced, like the "Room Of Our Own" which only lacks more silly screaming to fully capture the cheese of the 80s. "Laura" despite the clever background vocals, is a very annoying song, all in all, and I don't know if he thought using the F word would make him sound hip or what, but it just sounds stupid and ludicrous in context. "Scandinavian Skies" reaches high, has some interesting textures, but can get tiresome after a few listens. "Surprises" and "She's Just In Time" are better written, with mature, wry lyrics. In fact, the lyrics overall are probably the best he's written on any of his albums. "Where's the Orchestra" is a bit of pleasant fluff, but wisely not overextended.

Despite its shortcomings, this is a fine album by Billy Joel, the overall sound is very smooth and pleasing to the ear. Like the albums by ELO, Genesis, Moody Blues of this era, it has a very warm, keyboard layered production, without sounding all busy and brassy like typical mid 80s synth heavy stuff. And needless to say, fine musicianship throughout, not a bad note or unsteady beat to be found.

It's odd that some have said this is not his best album, but gave it 5 stars anyways. This isn't a Billy Joel fanboard. People read these reviews to make decisions on buying a product, not how even his weakest moments are better than anything else in the world. If you think your favorite artist needs 5 stars for everything they've ever done, odds are you are more a 'fanatic' than just a fan. Ironically, I've probably bought more Billy Joel albums (remember when they were 12" vinyl?) than most of these 5 star reviewers.

5 out of 5 stars Truly Superior.......2006-11-07

Billy addresses the critics here who say he just does commercial fluff by doing some socially conscious songs ("Allentown," "Good Night Saigon.") The critics were unmoved, but the result is a fantastic album. Every song is great here. Obviously one of Billy's favorite albums, because several songs here were featured in his 12 night Madison Sqaure Garden Concerts this year (see 12 Gardens Live.) Another reason for that is these songs have all held up really well.

Album Description

Montana Skies creates a unique new sound with the unusual pairing of cello and fingerstyle guitar. Combining classic with modern, the group has created their own "new acoustic" sound with innovative original compositions and arrangements. As the group moves ahead, they continue to stretch the boundaries of contemporary instrumental music.

5 out of 5 stars Thank you Montana Skies.......2005-01-26

I downloaded the free MP3 of "Danza" to play in our middle school media center, to give us all a little relief from classical piano pieces playing in the background. :) "Danza" sounded so fresh and invigorating, that I downloaded all the MP3's offered by Montana Sky. I love the blend of classical guitar and cello. It is not easy to find well played, well recorded, classical music with a world flavor that is not distracting in a library setting--and also does not make everyone sleepy. There are Celtic and Latin sounding pieces here.
The guitar and cello both are recorded with a very full sound and are exquisitely mixed and mastered. A very nice surprise. I've put both CDs on my wish list at home for myself too.

5 out of 5 stars An Oasis of quality music........2005-04-14

The tracks on this recording vary from exuberant latin-american jazz - like 'Beyond The Mirage'- to more introspective music like 'The Grand Passion'. 'Northern Lights'is very sensitive as well, it makes you a little bit melancholic. Between all the noisy dance-music we have nowadays, 'Nylon & Steel'is an oasis of quality and high standard.(Though there is no classical music played on this cd - apart from Villa-Lobos - don't let that spoil the fun). Something about this music reminds me of the piano-music of Brad Mehldau: it sounds familiar and at the same time it's something new.

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful CD.......2003-06-04

I didn't think I would like this CD. However, after the first listen, I had to admit this is a fantastic CD!

4 out of 5 stars cool classical/rock/jazz fusion.......2001-10-29

This is a very interesting combination of the classical and rock/jazz worlds of guitar playing. All four guitarists have amazing chops and they're all quite tasteful on this recording. If you're a fan of Barrueco, DiMeola, Morse, or Summers, check out this CD. I had heard Barrueco and Summers before, and knew of DiMeola and Morse by reputation, so I had an idea of what to expect...but "Nylon & Steel" surpassed those expectations. Very cool, indeed.

1 out of 5 stars A Disaster.......2001-09-08

Except for the two Barrueco solos, this CD made me nauseous!!!Listening to it reminded me why I stopped listening to most improvised music.

Throughout tracks 2 to 4, DiMeola struggles futilely to come up with anything but comical latin cliches. DiMeola's mindless noodling is an affront to Barrueco's musicality. Summers playing on the other hand, while somewhat musical, is mostly syrup.

Villa-Lobos' Etude 1 duet hurt the most. I have played this piece for years and, though an etude, I find it quite entertaining (as do most classical guitarists I think). During most of the piece, Morse simply plays scale-exercise filler and obliterates all the musical ideas in the piece. Listen, Villa-Lobos was one of the most original and masterful composers of this century. It is criminal to think that playing this electronic fluff over Villa-Lobos' etude does it justice.

A word to the uninitiated - buy Sergio and Odair Assad's "Latin Music for Two Guitars" and learn something about the depth and beauty of serious latin guitar music.

California's Los Lobos are the reigning kings of Tex-Mex/Rock Espanol. But this debut CD by the San Angelo, Texas band Los Lonely Boys might herald a changing of the guard. This is truly a band of brothers, led by guitarist/vocalist Henry Garza and his younger, bass-and-drum-playing siblings Jojo and Ringo (no kidding). Like a lot of groups, they had to move away to achieve fame--in their case, to Nashville. But after the release of their EP, Willie Nelson heard them, put them on tour as his opening act, and recorded them at his studio--and the rest may be history. Stylistically, the Garza brothers' bilingual songs about love and life combine Stevie Ray Vaughan blues, Santana-style guitar licks and R&B. Nelson helps out on guitar, with Reese Wynans on keyboards. Produced by Keb Mo and B.B. King producer John Porter, the music is honest, driving, and down home, especially on the organ-filled uptempo tracks "Senorita" and "Tell My Why." The stinging guitar solo on the Afro-anthemic "Onda" recalls the '70s grooves Santana built his chops on, while "The Answer" and "More than Love" are raw power ballads that show off this group's dynamism and diversity. --Eugene Holley, Jr.

2 out of 5 stars Taco Bell all the way..........2004-12-23

Somehow my previous review of this facile cd has dropped off the screen. Since I feel so strongly about it, I have rewritten this (its all just a joke doncha get it?)I glanced at the reviews and this album scored as high as it did because that is the state of pop music today. Welcome to the Britanny (sp)nation...Really this music lacks any depth, its a pale echo of Los Lobos and Santana...I like the lead guitarist tho, and I am told they are very good live...But the lyrics are banal and really most of the music is unoriginal...But you have to understand I also believe Garth Brooks and Shannia Twain (whatever her name is) were the logical extension of the Nashville country music machine and as the result of their mass popularity, we have disco pop computer non melodic airwave crap that is dominated by image and lack of substance..but you know to each their own..its all relative...my opinion is no better than anyone elses...So in my opinion, if you really wanna hear what this music should be all about listen to Los Lobos' cuts "One time, One night" or Don't Worry Baby"....or check out Lila Downs... Yeah, I love Willie Nelson too...but clearly everyone needs to make a buck...have at it...But if you could just return CDs because you don't like them...this would be at the top of my list.Taco Bell here we come..yes I'll have the fajita in the tortilla, extra velveta please...

5 out of 5 stars Finally, Good Music.......2004-07-04

I had lost hope. A music lover, I bought on average one new album every week, wishing that it will be the One.

A decade passed. Then Los Lonely Boys came along. WOW...

I am hooked, my wife is hooked, my kids too.

Thank you LLB.

They are the best thing that happened to rock n'roll since...I can't even remember.

I just hope that they will keep producing good music.

Keep bringing us joy.

5 out of 5 stars Smoking Hot!!!.......2004-06-25

I haven't heard music this good for a while. Every single track on this CD is awesome, which is rare for new bands these days. Vocals, guitar, bass, and percussions are solid, these guys can really play, unlike most of todays bands. I've travelled 5 straight hours listening to just this one CD and never got tired of it. In fact I'm listening to it right at this moment. Thinking of buying CD's, put this on your list. Can't wait till the next album comes out.

5 out of 5 stars Los Lonely Boys - The Real Deal.......2004-06-24

I just got back from seeing los lonely boys live for the first time (first, because I will definitely see them at every possble opportunity in the future.) Despite being relatively new and having little material to their catalogue, they put on quite an impressive show. MASSIVE jamming, I haven't seen amazing guitar like that since I saw the Crossroads Guitar Festival a few weeks ago, but that's another story. First of all, these guys are amazing, one day I'll be saying "yeah I saw the Los Lonely Boys for free in Dallas before they ever made it big." The first power trio was Cream, and these guys do great honor to the power trio tradition (underscore POWER!) The drums and bass are very good, but I am enthralled by the guitar capability of Henry Garza, this guy truly shreds the guitar with amazing capability. He was doing wah wah like I've only heard on Clapton albums and much more! At one point the bassist and lead guitarist were playing their instruments with one hand and changing chords by dropping or pulling the guitar up/down to change notes. They were showing off their musicianship and it was great. Henry even brought out a harmonica and was showing some mad skills. I bought the CD after seeing someone on audioscrobbler who liked the Jayhawks play their music alot so I checked them out at the music store and really enjoyed their CD and the single heaven. Now that I have seen them live, and heard Onda live with ~2 min. guitar solo intro to the song, I know that these guys will be around for a long time. One thing that always distinguished the really greats- Clapton, Santana, SRV for example- was the ability to create amazing catchy riffs and powerful songs that caught people's attention and drew them to the rest of their blues/rock output. "Heaven" is like that, it has an amazing riff that will draw people to an amazing musical talent. Quite refreshing!

5 out of 5 stars my all time favorite.......2004-06-23

i am not exaggerating - these guys are my all time favorite music. i am 45 years old and love all kinds of music. this is the best! i am in love with this amazingly talented band. every song..................this is it!

Product Description

Reminiscent of Lou Reed's masterpiece, 'Berlin,' nylon explores a sonic landscape that evokes the broken, burned out buildings of the soul, sunlight glimmering at the edges of brooding clouds. With lyrical subjects that range from post-partum depression to the death of the philosopher Socrates, nylon mysteriously uplifts the listener as it plums the deepest recesses of the soul. Despite the perceptible influences of Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave, David Bowie and Lou Reed, Martin Walker's songs capture the insights of a unique artistic and intellectual spirit. Martin Walker takes his own path of musical discovery and it is a path well worth walking. Produced by Jimi Zhivago, and featuring Blake Fleming, formerly of Mars Volta and the Traveling Kilmen, on drums, Julia Kent (Angels of Light, Jarboe, Antony And The Johnsons) on cello, and Cris Raelsy on sitar. Pete deBoer recorded and mixed "nylon" to tape in some of the finest studios in New York. Mastered by the legendary Joe Gastwirt (Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead) and pressed from a single speed glass master, the CD captures Martin's music at its very best.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Rich, Sophisticated, Soulful, Human.......2007-07-20

After listening to Martin Walker's album ("Nylon") I no longer feel that music generally in this day and age has lost touch with the rhythms of our inner humanity. This music is rich, sophisticated, and done with a remarkable depth of feeling. In particular what makes it rare, I think, is its soul and honesty. It speaks from the heart of a very lovable and imperfect man who knows something about himself and knows how to express his mind and experience, while suggesting a compelling darkness and a mystery of being that are not exclusive to any one individual. More than anything, by virtue of the lyrics, it seems to me to be about being human: what it means to be this feeling, thinking creature in the world today and perhaps in any age. The instrumentation has a very professional, subtile, and aesthetically pleasing quality: occasional organ, cello, and harmonica successfully give the compositions added depth and complexity. For me, it is no exaggeration to say that you might actually feel that you are listening to an artist on par with such legends as Lou Reed, David Bowie, Brian Eno, and others of this genre. If you like these famous song writers, Martin's music may just be for you; it may just knock you out of your daily mindset and transport you to special places.

5 out of 5 stars Life in Nylon.......2007-07-18

After reading "LIFE!" I was intrigued by Martin Walkers mind and looked forward to hearing his words and music. "Nylon" fulfilled my expectations. Mr. Walker's dark times and deep human connection swim through the songs with a raw honesty. I wish someone had written "I never told you this" for me. What a gift!

5 out of 5 stars back to berlin.......2007-07-07

"Thirty four years ago, Lou Reed released Berlin (Berlin,) a masterpiece of melancholic story-telling, in which the backdrop of the city loomed as the main character, indifferent to the fates of Lady Day, Jim, Caroline, or even Lou himself. The story that unfolds in listening to Martin Walker's new release -- nylon -- casts twin cities as its leads to similar effect.

"Although it has been fifteen years since Walker left London for New York, the tension between these two worlds - one abandoned, one adopted ? establishes itself as an unspoken metaphor for the tension between Walker's private inner world, reflecting his response to his repressive homeland, and the confessional, no-holds-barred honesty of his writing, in keeping with New York's inimitable brand of frankness.

"nylon leads the listener through a sonic landscape that evokes the broken, burned out buildings of the soul, sunlight glimmering at the edges of leaden clouds. With lyrical subjects ranging from his struggles with alcoholism to his reactions to his wife's post-partum depression, it is clear that Walker has been on a searching journey. But although the musical tone and subject matter can be melancholic, the genius of nylon lies in its inverse emotional impact; despite the hard-won sadness, one comes away feeling uplifted rather than downcast.

"Walker has collected some of the finest players in New York to help fulfill his musical vision. The album is lovingly produced by Jimi Zhivago (formerly of Ollabelle - Ollabelle,) and features founding Mars Volta drummer Blake Fleming (Amputechture) and cellist Julia Kent (Antony and The Johnsons - I am a Bird Now, The Angels of Light - How I Loved You, Jarboe). Walker also spurns the pro-tools digital shortcuts prevalent in most recordings today. Pete deBoer recorded and mixed nylon to two inch analog tape, and Joe Gastwirt the analog mastering legend (The Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones) provided the finishing touch for a CD that sounds truly superb."

5 out of 5 stars Incredible.......2006-06-14

This is a very special album, next to a very few others in my collection (Kind of Blue, Birds of Fire are in this category)that transcend genre or date, simply gorgeous music. As a prescription for the stress and cynicism inherent in 21st-century life, listen quietly to this album and be healed - it worked for me! Over and over again! This music is a blessing, and it should be much more widely heard. Chapdelaine's writing and playing are beyond compare, check it out -

5 out of 5 stars Enchanting Music.......2002-09-20

This CD by guitarist Michael Chapdelaine contains some of the most soulful and beautiful original music I've ever heard played on guitar. Ravishing tone and impeccable phrasing.

5 out of 5 stars a must-have for any music collection.......1999-12-01

I saw Jami Seiber play with Ferron last fall and Ferron had her play two songs off of this album during the show. It was so powerful and beautiful that I was actually brought to tears and I ran out and bought the album at the end of the show. Her playing will blow you away. She makes the cello express such a range of emotion and passion. The CD is great for relaxing, meditation, or just thinking in general. It definitely has been the best addition to my collection in years.

5 out of 5 stars a delicious spirit entralling cd. one of my 1999 favs........1999-08-17

i loved her cello piece the very first time that i heard it. if you have a musical soul, i don't think that you'll be disappointed.

5 out of 5 stars Second sight is always best.......1999-06-07

Incredible listening pleasure. I came across Jamie Sieber at a Ferron Concert at the Left Bank in Blue Hill, ME as she was backing her up and of all the CD's I bought that night, this is the one that has received the most play. Meditation to a relaxing evening to the end of a hectic day, this CD puts me into a lucid state. I want "The Goat's Earth" at my funeral don't bury me under forest trees...when I die please bury me under the shade tree...I want to hear the drum beat, I want to feel the dancer's feet. A must to any collection.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars His Best Yet.......2007-01-20

Was a big fan of Rick's music back in the mid 90's but I got away from listening to country music. I just stumbled on this CD and am very impressed. Every song is a winner. If your a fan of Clay Walker you will love this music as it will remind you very much of his song style and vocal presentation.

4 out of 5 stars Sounds like Raul Malo and the Mavericks.......2006-12-10

Rick Treviño had many hits during the 90's and sounded like most of the
C&W singers of those days all very much influenced by Garth Brooks. When
Rick joined the fabulous "Los Super 7", he met Raul Malo of the Mavericks
and they became very close friends something you can hear and feel on this great CD.
The music is just like The Maverick's and his voice has
changed from the Garth way of singing to Raul's which is a must better
choice. The song " In My Dreams" by the Mavericks is still a little bit
better but the rest is well done especially "Overnight Success", "She'll
Never Know" and the wonderful "Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman".
However I prefer Rick in his contributions to the Los Super 7 albums,
of course singing in Spanish, with songs like "Mi ranchito", "Ojitos
Traidores", Cupido and the best of them all "El Ausente". On his latest
recording he claims "I don't care about Mexico and I'm better off north
of the border" which I think is a rather unfortunate statement because
his roots are Mexican and there are a lot of hispanic fans all around
who really enjoy his music whether it is Country, Tex Mex, Conjunto or
the old traditional latin songs. By the way, why do they always print
Trevino instead of Treviño. Is he ashamed about the ñ which is a letter
that only exists in the Spanish language?

1 out of 5 stars Not as good as earlier music.......2006-11-19

I wanted to like this CD so badly, because I loved Rick's first three CDs. But this release is nowhere near as good as that earlier music. Gone are the excellent, rambunctious honkytonk tunes and the heartbreaking ballads. This CD is nothing more than the fluffy pop crap that passes for country music.

4 out of 5 stars In My Dreams.......2006-01-26

Rick Trevino's "In My Dreams" really was a pleasant surprise. I'm a big fan of Los Super Seven, which lead me to try out a Rick Trevino CD. And this one is actually good enough to rival Los Super 7's impressive output.

The CD is a good mix of classic country mixed with Tex-Mex, Americana, and honky tonk. I love the flameno/gipsy guitars that are sprinkled throughout the album.

I was surprised at how much I liked the cover version of "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman". I didn't care that much for the original by Bryan Adams, but Trevino's is spiced up nicely.

This CD is produced by Raul Malo of the Mavericks. It definitely sounds like it has his touch on it. I would highly recommend this CD to anyone who's a fan of Raul Malo's music and Los Super 7's CD's. Good stuff!

5 out of 5 stars GREAT!.......2003-10-08

I first saw the In My Dreams video on GAC and new instantly that Raul Malo had something to do with it. That song gave me goosebumps - it's beautiful! I also knew instantly that I had to have the CD. Unfortunately I had to wait several weeks for it's release and I was not disappointed. There is not one or two or three good songs on the CD - ALL the songs are good! While the songs and style are typically Mavericks, Rick's voice makes the songs his own. Bravo!

    Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars More Western Oriented.......2007-05-16

This album is more disco/pop oriented than Anna Vissi's earlier albums, which I personally prefer.Maybe this is designed to attract a world audience in addition to merely Greek fans.In fact it puts me in mind of Despina Vandi's "Gia".Who can say:however it will backfire for those who prefer impeccably played authentic Greek instruments and top quality sound, which this album doesn't have.[you do get the odd fuzzy sound of a bouzouki thrown in at times just so you don't forget that this IS a Greek album.]I suppose it all depends on your musical taste.I can't help feeling that Anna is turning into a Greek version of Madonna. If that's what the fans want, well that's fine by me,but count me out in future.I'll stick with Natassa Theodoridou. You'd be better off buying her previous double album,KRAVGI,which is far better than this one:really first class in fact.
