You can never go wrong with Mozart; and this is a fine sampling of his music. True, it has been livened up a bit with a touch of added rhythm, but it works - and who knows? Perhaps children who hear this will go on to the original music - which really didn't need anything added to be effective. The small ensemble plays very well, arrangements are fine for what they are, and recorded sound is exemplary. Minimal program notes, but quite a bit about the positive effects on children of listening to music when young. A mid-priced CD that would have been even more attractive if it had a few more selections. A 2000 Parents' Choice(r) Recommended Winner. (Bob Benson, Parents' Choice®, 2000)

We have purchased five of these CDs in five years. We use it to put both of our children to sleep every single night. It is soothing and beautiful. I just bought another.

Good for Adults Too.......2002-07-08

My husband was in an intensive care cardiac unit for 5 weeks. My son & daughter-in-law loaned this to us to play in his room. Everyone including the doctors and nurses loved it. I think it helped in my husband's recovery. There is so much confusion in an ICU unit and his room was a peaceful haven. It's great for babies too we understand!

Perfect for babies.......2001-11-30

My wife and I played this before our daughter was born. After she was born she found it soothing, it seemed as though she recognized its soothing melodies. We now use it as background music while she sleeps.
