About the Artist
Martin Jones has a highly regarded discography that includes complete piano works of Percy Grainger, Debussy, Mendelssohn and Szymanowski for Nimbus. This series of Bennett recordings will be similar in their range to Martin Jones’ highly regarded Grainger series. Martin Jones is well known in Salt Lake City and New Orleans, where he regularly performs in recital. He is also a judge at the Kapell Piano Competition in Maryland at the State University.

Bennett’s original film scores include Four Weddings and a Funeral, Murder on the Orient Express, Billy Liar and Far from the Madding Crowd. Bennett is a well-known piano revue player, and his lifelong interest in jazz and light music is reflected in many of these compositions for piano - a mix of serious compositions, light composition and works for student pianists.
