I am buying this CD for the third time because I love it and my copies have a habit of walking off. Everyone that has heard it loves it as much as I do so I keep loaning it to people and forget who has it. This is truly healing music.

This Cd has so many wonderful, pleasing melodies and earth sounds that blend the Great Spirit with the Creation! My Salish brother starts it with a wonderful Bitterroot Salish language prayer, and the music that follows is comparable to the spirit of the People of the Bitterroot and all brothers elswhere. I've been told by many that this music is good for the soul, and for health... to take time to listen, and relax, because when you listen to this CD, it's ok to relax.

I'm very fond of the American Indian Music. We have several CD's in our collection. Jeannette Winter's Flute Music on this CD is awesome. It creates such a calm setting. I am an activity director at a lovely nursing home. We are playing this CD for our residents (and staff). We enjoy the background sounds Jeannette has selected to enhance her flute playing on the CD. Jeannette's music puts us in a gentle relaxed mood. Honestly, if you want to escape from a stressful day please play and enjoy this CD.

If you would like a way out of your everyday hectic, functional roles, this is the way to do it! Listen to the natural sounds of this cd and find yourself in peace and hope. A True Artist Who Stands the Test of Time.......2007-07-06
Russell Thompkins, Jr. brings to the table a rare, magical voice that stands the test of time. Is this his best material ever -- No. Is this nevertheless a superb CD with excellent songs -- Yes. He is true artist, and for his fans, this is a terrific CD. My fervent hope is that he records again and again.
It takes more than a great voice to make a CD........2006-09-27
After having heard Russell Thompkins, Jr. sing as a New Stylistic in the PBS DVD, Soul Party Live," I got curious as to how his single CD sounded. Well, his voice is in top form, but this effort is very unmusical. It didn't take long for me to realize that the only instruments in this CD is a synthesizer, and drum machine. As such, the music sounds artificial and synthetic. Moreover, the material is simply lacking and is mediocre at best. His attempt to re-make the stellar hit, "People Make the World Go Round," is a disaster. This effort proved to me that you need more than a great voice to make a CD. You also need good material and real instruments like horns, violins, a real piano, drums and an orchestra if you can swing it. This is a far cry from the Philly days with backup bands like the legendary MFSB. While Russell still has potential, it doesn't come through here.

An astonishing collection of ballads that would leave you wanting for more.His voice is so smooth and silky beautiful iam so in love with this album iam his greatest fan.A must have for any serious Russell Thomkins Jr fan.

I was so glad to find that a cd exist for Russell Thompkins Jr, and I must say the cd I bought is excellant. The songs are all true and soft. Russells voice and talent for good ballads has not dwindled one bit. With so much going on in the music industry today its great to see true singers still singing. Its been out for 2 years and I recommend it to others . Go Russell may u bless us with another cd or a re-union cd with The Stylistics. macqdor@yahoo.com

I was introduced to Galloway's music by a soundbyte of "Canon in D" in an email attachment and it took me forever to find the rest of the song. His arrangement and performance of this piece is worth the cost of the CD. Fortunately, it is only one of 11 great arrangements! His style is pure, simple and soothing. You don't need to "dig" classical music to appreciate the beauty in this LP.

Lee Galloway's rendition of Canon in D is worth the entire CD's price. I have never heard a better rendition, and, if the other songs are anything like the Canon in D, this is one very wonderful work of music.

I was given Mindful Journey as a gift from a special friend. It has a thoroughly relaxing and soothing sound and is a favourite pick at the end of a busy day - even if I have only a few minutes to sit, listen and refocus. I have ordered a number of copies of this CD to pass along to friends over the holiday season - it is going to make a terrific hostess gift. Jim Hubay is a most talented artist - I look forward to his next release!

I purchased the Mindful Journey CD and I have really enjoyed it. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in a very relaxing CD that is easy to listen to. It is a perfect CD for times when you want to just kick back and take it easy.

Unlike some other relaxation discs I've bought, Mindful Journey induces calm and relaxation without the requisite cutesy-pooh arrangements. It delivers what it promises -- it whisks you away without getting all squishy. Every time I listen to it, I discover another layer of musical mastery. Hubay's guitar work is superb.
I turned my massage therapist on to it and she loves it. She tends to listen to the same discs over and over in a week but she says she just can't get sick of this one.
Ultimate Relaxation.......2003-11-11
Listening to Mindful Journey is the ultimate in relaxation. I listen to it while stretching, meditating and soaking in the tub. I've also used it in the classroom while my students are reading or working quietly. Everyone's mood becomes mellow. I'm planning to buy a few copies for Christmas gifts, to share my great find with others.

Flutist Monet drops her second album which is full of nice grooves; it's perfect for any neo-soul completists. I'm not feeling her much as a singer, though; it seems like the flute is her bread-and-butter. However, she does a good job of flipping The Doobie Brothers' "Minute by Minute", where she plays the flute and sing. -EJR
