Editorial Reviews
The Herald Journal - Logan, Utah - May 2, 2003
Cabell and Fifield transformed dilapidated pages of Civil War Confederate Band Books to sparkling sounds of modern compact disk technology.
The Daily Progress - Charlottesville, Virginia - May 8, 2003
The music that lifted tired heads and lightened heavy hearts nearly 150 years ago is doing it again....

Away Down In Dixie!.......2005-08-13
Hidden music found.......2003-07-08
Music generally will give very broad hints about various eras and the mood at that time.
This album with it's superbly played and chosen tunes illustrates this extremly well. The narrative gives the album a feel that is missing in others of this type.
While this is a specialized type of music, anyone who has any interest in Civil War elements would surely finds this to be a plus in any collection whether one is interested from a Northern or Southern viewpoint.
I would hope that there might be another album or two of this type that would include music from the North.
General Lee would be proud.......2003-06-06
