In certain moments Chopin sounds as if in tender despair. This is the distinctive characteristics of these interpretations, especially on the slower pieces, where the pianist finds the necessary balance. The reading of Prelude nr.2 deserves special mentioning ...the painful nr.6, which its simplicity makes it even more sublime, the optimistic nr.9, with its ascending design, or nr.20, with an emotional universe contained in just a few measures...you will not regret having this record in your discotheque. A performance rich in nuances.
