Album Description
Yulia Ziskel has established herself as a highly acclaimed solo, chamber, and orchestral musician in the United States and around the world. Her activities range from being one of the youngest members of the New York Philharmonic's First Violin section, to numerous international solo and chamber music appearances.

Her debut solo CD spans 100 years of great music, performing works by Henryk Wieniawski, Peter Ilich Tchaikovsky, Eugene Ysaye, Johannes Brahms, and Niccolo Paganini. The disc features collaborations with renowned pianist Tatiana Goncharova as well as solo violin pieces.

Having performed in places like Carnegie Hall, St. Petersburg Philharmonic Hall in Russia, venues all over Europe and Japan, and having been a winner of numerous competitions, this CD shows why this Russian born virtuoso was praised by the New York Times and Strad Magazine for "…the sweetness of her sound".
