Eileen Hadidian, Maureen Brennan and Natalie Cox are members of Healing Muses, which brings healing music to hospitals, clinics, hospices, convalescent homes, retreat centers and homebound individuals. Using a combination of medieval, Renaissance and Celtic music, American folk tunes and spirituals, as well as drawing on various world traditions, their music promotes relaxation and reduces anxiety during stressful hospital stays and procedures. Patients, families and staff experience the power of music to calm and soothe in a noisy, high-anxiety environment. Healing Muses ia a non-profit organization, and is supported by grants, donations, CD sales and concerts, which provide funding to bring healing music to oganizations and individuals in need.
