Editorial Reviews The music of La Terre vue du Ciel (The Earth from Above) is the score to a film that was created to bring the astounding aerial photography of Yann Arthus-Bertrand to the screen. Arthus-Bertrand's work was presented as the Earth from Above exhibition at the Luxembourg Gardens, and he became famous instantly. His photography shows the earth as a living entity, in a light that can't be known from our daily perspective. The film maker Renaud Delourme approached Arthus-Bertrand about making a film out of his work, and Armand Amar was chosen to compose the score. The music, reflective of the photography it accompanies, is varied across many styles and genres, each section crafted to perfectly compliment Arthus-Bertrand's work. This package includes a lavish book that presents many of the now-legendary photographs in full color.
