Advice from a rock'n roller.......2003-03-22
OK, I've been a progressive rocker since I was 9 years old. Thought technodance music was an insult to the industry and could be created by anyone who had a computer...which is certainly the case in most American popular music. As usual, Iwas wrong. I bought this album for my wife at Christmas, and was awed by the creativity and sheer power of true German techno -- a sound untainted by corporate thirst for profit and mass audiences. As I listened to the first CD, I was immediately transported inside a vast machine whoose inner workings were as mysterious as its ultimate purpose. This disc features the more traditional European club sound. The second CD is a bit more progressive and equally enjoyable, with strong classical music undertones. The audio quality and sound imaging is fantastic, and I srongly recommend this two-disc set for anyone who is searching for a total listening experience.
