This is a live recording of a concert in Tokyo(2002) by Kemal Gekic,a pianistic idol in Japan,released at the initiative of the Kemal Gekic Fan Club of Japan.Gekic is one of the most extraordinary concert pianists of today, hailed as "..a genius"( The Boston Globe)and "piano centaur"(Fanfare).This recording contains selected numbers from the concert given for the Chopin Foundation of Japan, including some of the most famous pieces from the Chopin repertoire,such as the Heroic Polonaise and Black Key Etude.
