Following the CD of the string quatets of Ernst Krenek, which was included in the German Record Critics Quarterly List (CD 67015), Capriccio now continues its rediscovery of the composer with a new CD presenting Krenek's works for piano, played by Till Alexander Körber. One of the piano works bears the title 'Echos from Austria": Krenek, like Egon Wellesz driven out of his homeland, had to leave Austria in 1938 and settled in the USA, from where he regularly visited Europe after the Second World War.
